Still the best coffee out there!
Full disclosure - Don Pablo is the only coffee I buy. I switched to this roast about a year and a half ago due to the lower acidity. I will say the first bag or two were not to the high standards I know this company has, however, that problem has been rectified! I can now say this blend is as excellent as the others. Every bag I've purchased in the last year or more has been very fresh. The beans all have a nice sheen and delicious aroma to them. I drink it black and can say this European blend is smooth and rich with a nice chocolate finish and no bitterness at all. I use a percolator and let the pot perk for 15 - 16 minutes. Highly recommend! The Guatamalan and Signature blends are good too.

Perfect 10 score, coffee beans by Don Pablo!
Don Pablo Mediterranean blend it is the real deal, amazing flavor and aroma, I had purchased previously different Roasted Batch and coffee beans from Don Pablo ( Cuban type and Signature blend) every single product they offer it is top notch coffee. Definitely I will be a frequent buyer from this family owned company, they have everything in each presentation: Flavor, Aroma, body, freshness, great packing, fast delivery and incredible price. Kudos to Don Pablo it is not only 5 stars coffee beans, they are hands down a perfect 10. You just gained one loyal customer that appreciate your coffee dearly.

Good coffee and worth the money.
I just brewed my first pot today. It's a full-bodied and flavorful coffee, and this is the third blend that I've tried. But of the three, at this point I would have to say that the Colombian supreme is the best, flavor wise. Of the three, there isn't any one of them that I would not buy again, but I like to try different things, and if they have any other flavor coffees I will be trying them also

If you like the espresso in Italian cafes, you will probably like this one.
I just read a review by Enha comparing this one to the Guatamalan or Signature Blend. The reviewer praises Don Pablo brand but claims this blend is not as good as the other. I used to buy the others for some time now and loved them but decided to switch to this one as I find it more to my taste. Goes to show that when a brand is delivering high quality products (as Don Pablo sure does!), the rest is really up to ones personal taste preferences. Both me and my wife, avid espresso drinkers and use a home high-end espresso machine, immediately commented that this blend reminds us of the coffee served in the cafes in Italy.

Poor coffee - NO Aroma, Little Flavor
I am a HUGE fan of other Don Pablo coffees (I buy many pounds of their Signature Blend and Guatemala), so it kind of pains me to have to write a bad review on them, but this stuff just sucks! To start with, there is absolutely NO normal coffee aroma from the beans. I just opened the bag this morning, and I am not sure what it actually smells like, Just NOT coffee! There is a slightly antiseptic odor I guess, and maybe a little bit of wood ash, but nothing else that I can actually describe. And it is not a problem with my nose today - I just grabbed a bag of Guatemala and squeezed out a bit of air from the vent, and it has the normal heavenly aroma I expect. I have had two cups so far, and the flavor pretty much matches the unpleasant smell. It is not burnt in any way, just not good coffee. I can drink it, but I sure do not enjoy it. To help you understand what I mean and what I consider good and bad coffee: I absolutely HATE the burned dirt flavor that is so common in the strangely popular coffee companies that originated in the North West. But I do love a very strong coffee with a pronounced flavor, and I only drink it black, so nothing to cover up faults in the brew. I do drink a lot of coffee - at least one full pot every morning. I decided to try this European Blend, partially because it was a Dark Roast, even though I was slightly worried it might have a somewhat burned taste (some companies seem to think that "Dark" can only mean burned). I do not know what a "European Blend" might actually be - I did live there for a number of years back in the '70s, and I do not remember bad coffee like this stuff. I guess if I put milk or sugar in my coffee, this would be pretty much unremarkable, but having to accept only the taste of the beans, I do not like it. UPDATE: Added one star to 3 - After drinking this coffee for a week, I think I might have been just a bit too harsh - while it is not GOOD coffee by any means, it is not really BAD either. Just average (and I still do not like it). I think my initial reaction was tinged by great disappointment in my expectations.

New flavor same great quality
Another great blend by Burke Brothers. My favorite coffee, and one of the best deals in all of Amazon. Terrible brands of coffee cost much more than this (by the pound), when you buy at the store. A real treasure. This European Blend has a sort of a french roast feel to it, but somewhat more robust and rich and slightly less dark and sharp than that.

Another winner from Don Pablo
Don Pablo does it again - - a rich blend of high-quality beans roasted to a dark, oily sheen that is not carbonized. We've been enjoying DP's "Charbeanz" deep-roast for months, and this addition to Pablo's lineup is superb. If you like a deep flavor that is not "burned," you owe it to yourself to try this roast. Good job, Mr. Burke. We are amazed at the quality, and appreciative of the fair pricing. Love the two-pound bags.

Great coffee
It is one of the best coffees that I have found. Deep chocolate flavor without harshness. The date of roasting was not written on the bag however it Felt freshly roasted. I Use it as a café latte with an espresso ground on a conical burr grinder. I think it’s a very good value

My parents absolutely love this. I think this is their 8th re-order now? They use their bean to ground coffee machine and these beans last them for quite a while (they have like 3 cups of coffee each per day). The flavour is incredible so huge thumbs up from us!

It’s very good blend but just doesn’t quite get the 5th star. It’s better than other brand name coffee beans and it’s good for a change but I usually go back to my “signature blend” after a small change once in a while
