We have a routine everyday walking down to our pond and feeding our fish. The quality of the food seems to promote good health and haven't noticed any issues which might indicate there was a digestibility problem. It doesn't smell funny or have an off color and overall it's a great value for my money. Anyone with fish in their pond, and for us I'm talking native bluegills not fancy koi, no how expensive it is supplement.

It took a few days of feeding, as the fishes were used eating bread, but now they have been converted. They key is to feed at the same time daily. The pellets are small enough for the little bluegill in the lake. The bass lay in wait, as they are visible while the bluegill eat. I would recommend this fish food to anyone with a lake or pond on their property. 6/28/25 Update I have continued to use this fish food on a daily basis. The fish see me coming and get very excited. They can barely wait for me to start throwing the pellets in. The bluegill have grown quite large, as have the bass. I would highly recommend this product, and will never use anything else. At times it is not available on Amazon, but you can buy it directly from the manufacturer for the same price.

Bag bigger than I thought packaging is right and sealed

We used this in our backyard lake and now the kids catch a fish every 1-3 minutes! After a couple of weeks of feeding the fish its extremely easy to catch them. The population of fish doubles and they always seem hungry. It also gives he larger bass more small fish to eat, making them much bigger. Great product! Please let me know when you come up with a feeder that is small enough the whole lake doesn't see it. I cant wait to leave it running when we are out of town. Great Purchase!!!

I stocked a few bass, bluegill, and catfish in a small pond about 40' X 40'. The fish like the food and feed aggressively. I feed them by hand and they come when I walk to the edge of the pond.

Surprisingly popular with all our fish! I tried this product in our pond that contains Crappie, largemouth bass, Sauger, Sunfish, & Walleye. It is a floating food pellet, so fish need to surface to immediately feed on it. In less than a month of regular feedings at 8am CST, I've seen every species in our pond feeding on it from the surface. Even walleye & sauger, which are generally not surface feeding species. I recommend this product to anyone wanting to feed their fish. FYI- Untrained fish likely won't go after pellets when you first start using them. It takes regular feedings & patience for fish to become 'trained' & accustomed to using pellets as a food source.
