Effective
Helps keep my pong sparkling and clear. Keeps out bacteria and helps contain waters balance. Seems to last pretty well and is very easy to measure out and use.

Works great in an aquarium
I do not have a pond- I have a 75 gallon aquarium. I was using the normal Prime to treat my water during topoffs and water changes. This stuff is *identical* in capability, but it is twice as concentrated. 1ml of this treats 20 gallons of water, rather than 1ml for 10 gallons with normal aquarium Prime. Great value, great product, nice to be able to buy it in bigger sizes than the 500ml aquarium sized Prime.

MUST HAVE Staple Item for Fish Ponds!
This product has been a lifesaver (literally!) for my pond. It quickly removes chlorine, chloramine, and detoxifies both ammonia and nitrite without affecting pH. A little goes a LONG way - just remember to shake well before using. I always keep it in stock. I have had several pump/filter malfunctions over the years (usually when I am out of town - go figure!). This product can be used to chemically treat the water in the absence of a working filtration system. This has literally saved me hundreds if not thousands of dollars by keeping my koi alive until repairs could be made. I also throw a small amount in whenever I have to top off the pond (which is often during hot summers). My only complaint is the packaging. It would be nice if the label contained a quick reference chart and built in measurement dispenser. I usually end up writing the dosage I need directly on the bottle with a sharpie and store a small measuring cup on top of the lid.

Makes tap water safe for koi
I use this every week when doing the water replacement for my 3000 gallon koi pond. I backwash the filter and that takes about 10% of the pond volume and then I refill from the tap. During that time I throw about a shot glass into the pond. I bought a measurement shot glass. This sized bottle lasts a good amount of time.

This product works great
This is a great product that I've used for over a decade. It reduces algae and creates healthy water environment. If you have a UV light and Aqua Ultima Koi Filter read the instructions for recommendations to temporarily turn off the UV, to give more time for the bacteria to adhere to the filter media.

As advertised
Arrived quickly. I have 2 120 gallon tanks. This is more concentrated so it lasts longer.

UNLABELED BOTTLE
I have used Pond Prime in the past but the current online vendor I use [WWG] does not carry it. Pond Prime has the advantage of "neutralizing" ammonia as well as removing the chlorine and chloramine from tap water. I get ammonia spikes when my koi spawn so I looked online for another source for Pond Prime so I could use a single product to condition the water rather than getting a second one to deal with the ammonia issue. Went with lowest price vendor and when the product arrived it was missing the front label. Uh oh! Is it counterfeit? Anyone who has ever used Pond Prime would immediately recognize the smell: VERY strong sulfur aroma. This definitely had that and it seemed to work - chlorine level stayed at zero after a partial water change and the ammonia went from over 2ppm to .5ppm in 3 days [test reagents measured ALL ammonia, both NH3 and NH4+]. Still, the missing label concerns me and I will be contacting the vendor to see what's up.
