I really liked the characters and the plot. It was a good middle grade mystery. It was a light mystery, but still had some twists to it.

Perfect for young readers who are just getting into mystery. This is simple mystery solving with the adorable animal bonus. Cute book for middle elementary ages.

I really like this book beacause there are several mysteries within the story, and that made me want to keep reading. This book is about a girl who accidently starts her own dog-walking business, helps her family's landlady find her lost fortune and uncovers a disguised dognapper. This book was very interesting and it seemed realistic. The main character, Maggie, was a lot like me. Both of us want a dog, like to help people and like to solve mysteries. I would recommend this book to girls who like to read mysteries and realistic fiction.

Okay so this book looked right up my 10 year old daughters alley with pets and mystery and adventure all wrapped up so I got it and she ended up loving it so much we got the next and the next! She already read this whole series and we want more from this author .. it was so cute & good book for her age . Going to do like I always do when we love a good book and paste my review on the whole series since we bought them one by one.

Maggie is a 12 year old girl who walks dogs in her spare time around her neighborhood in New York City. One day, she realizes that dogs are disappearing when her ex-best friend's dog, Kermit, is kidnapped. She volunteers to help find the dog. Are the dogs being kidnapped for experimental use? Are they being resold for a profit? This is a great middle grade mystery written in the first person. I, personally, love Maggie's attention to her doggy clients and her tenacity in finding the thief. It has many wonderful characters, and the plot kept me fascinated. If you love dogs, and a good mystery, this one's for you. It was written for children ages 8 and up.
