Premium Jewellery 9ct Gold 5mm Open Bolt Ring Fastener Clasp

I was a bit concerned that maybe this clasp was not real 9ct gold because some of the feedback that was given. I am allergic to most metals except gold so I needed the clasp to be gold so when I received this I was really pleased and as you can see in my photo above this clasp does show the numbers 375 which is the mark for 9ct gold. I had a gold necklace that lost its clasp and this was easy to fit with some pliers so I am very happy now that I can once again wear my necklace.

The only good thing I can say is it arrived. It is not 9ct gold or silver. No hallmark. After two days wear there is no gold colour left. It is just silver coloured metal. Be warned this is only worth a few pence.

this is great saved me buying a whole new chain

This was much smaller than I expected. Really only suitable for a very fine chain. It looked quite robust in the photo but, sadly, was not suitable for the chain I wanted to repair. Delivery was prompt, but a better indication of size would be helpful. I've attached a photo for comparison though it's difficult to see, but the catch attached to the chain is what I would regard as a standard size and thickness. The one on the left is really tiny and would be very fiddly as the bolt opening mechanism is so small.
