Farmina N&D, Pumpkin Venison Pumpkin and Apple Recipe Adult Dry Cat Food, 3.3lb

Farmina is an Italian brand. High quality, grain free. The mixes of ingredients are also unusual but super tasty for my cat. It is a bit pricey. But it is worth.

This particular flavor is my cat’s favorite; good quality. Other farmina ones -she did not like as much, tolerate at best. Her hair is healthier although yes still everywhere. It has pretty strong smell and thus make sure you have a good feeder or container. However, we got into a different issue - she is now officially overweight and thus needs to get into a different diet. The fat content is high for this layback, did not do much lady cat.

This is by far the best cat food, if you don't want to be visiting the vet with cat issues. My cats absolutely love this flavor (they've been a bit picky on some of the N&D other flavors) ... it doesn't upset their digestive systems and they can't wait to eat! You only feed them 1/2 cup a day (with two cats, this small bag lasts me a month) and yes, they can gain weight (as my female has done) but they're both really healthy, active with very shiny coats. This food is for carnivores: cats are carnivores. The food does not contain any pea stuff (cats are allergic to it and most cat foods have peas in them) and contains only the good stuff. If you care about your animals, this is the food to buy.

The product is of high quality and fresh ingredients. Purchased since my pet has allergies and product works well. Although the price is a bit high, it is not as bad as prescription or some if the other grain freed. Note to potential purchasers: make sure to verify ingredients on the Farmina website when looking at other possible flavors, I noticed some errors.

My 3 cats have been eating Farmina for several years and all are healthy with beautiful coats. Farmina food has caused them no problems and they love all of the grain free formulas. In fact, they all love it so much that I had to put them on strict measured portions to prevent weight gain. My 4 yr. old guy use to vomit shortly after eating all other high quality dry foods but that completely stopped after switching to Farmina. I rotate their protein daily since they also love the Lamb and Duck versions of this food. Thought I'd try them on this Venison and it was also a big hit. I love the healthy ingredients and the fact that this food is made in Italy. Yes, it's pricey but well worth it to me to keep them as healthy as possible. Vet bills are much more expensive and my 6, 5 and 4 year old cats have remained healthy, only needing their required vaccinations. In addition to this kibble, they also split a can of wet food along with some freeze dried raw daily. All 3 are good water drinkers so that's also a plus.

The food itself, I give a 10 star rating to. The only issue is buying it online, if there is an issue you CANNOT return it. This is a very expensive high quality food. It is the only hard food my elderly cat will eat. The last 2 times I have bought it online, the food was oily, which it should not have been. My cat didn't want to eat it like usual, and I could not return it for a replacement. Buy your pet food from a reputable pet supply company that carries this brand. I had it happen once when I bought thru the pet store, and they gladly replaced the bag, no questions asked.

My picky cats just devoured this food, so far without any digestive problems. I had just purchased the quail in this same brand but thought I would try the venison due to digestive problems for two of my cats. So far, so good. I like the fact that this food is grain-free with lots of protein.
