They run about 10mm longer than the listed length
I ordered the 80mm version and as you can see, they are definitely 90mm long. I looked for the packaging to have that in the picture also, but I must have threw it away. I assure you that I double checked that I wasn't sent or ordered the wrong length and the package did say they were supposed to be the 80mm version. Technically, they were too long for what I was buying them for, but the quality was so good that I installed them anyway. Even with the shock compressed and the suspension maxxed out, they improved the handling of my R/C monster truck greatly and they do not leak at all. I'm disappointed that they are too long for any of my current R/C vehicles, but I will eventually put them to use on a regular basis. You won't be disappointed if you order them about 10mm shorter than you need.

Must have!!
Be careful, these are pretty awesome!! Price is absurdly low for the quality of these shocks. Filled with oil after arrival & they haven’t leaked so far and the travel is so smooth. Comes with 2 pairs of springs so you have 3 sprung options (short+short = soft, short+long= medium, long+long=firm) and plenty of preload adjustment to fine tune on the trails. They also look great!

Great Shocks
Great quality shocks, no leaks and a great finish. They have less travel than the GPMs of equal size. They are emulsion shocks and must be mounted upright. If you mount them horizontally, there will be reduced or no damping. The 70mm and 80 mm versions appear to use the same valve body however the 70mm has a shorter shaft. Might be better to just buy the 80mm version and install a 10mm spacer under the piston. They are measured center to center of the mounting holes. There is very limited threaded area for the spring preload adjustment. Valving was a little slow so I enlarged the holes in the pistons. The included softer springs are just right for the front end of Tamiya’s Frog. GPMs were way to stiff for the front and way too soft for the rear of said buggy. Unfortunately, I received one with missing lower ball mount as shown in the pic, making it unusable. I only needed two so I won’t return them as those are installed on the buggy. After the adjustments they work perfectly on the front of the Frog using GPM shock mounts.

Heavy springs good shocks
The shocks themselves work well once filled and the air is bleed out. The springs they come with though are super heavy rate and really don’t compress much unless you are jumping it. Not good for rock crawlers but maybe for a thrasher.

Well worth the money. Read review
DONT LET IGNORANT PEOPLE STEER YOU AWAY FROM THESE. Can't stress the quality of this product. They are great shocks. They clearly don't come with any oil in them, any one who thought they did needs to learn how to read. (I.e. the guy below me) fully adjustable, and you can completely disassemble the entire shock. Update: have had them on the same crawler for over a year and havnt had single problem. Again, these people dont know what they're talking about in the reviews. If they're not even or sagging, it's not because of the shock its because of the monkey that's filling the shock.

These don't fit TRX4 platform
These do not fit the TRX4 platform. They are not wide enough, need a lot of shimming/rubber bushings to fit. Tried on a 1979 TRX4 K5 Blazer

Pretty but useless
He's a pretty toy shocks. After one real compression, the oil pretty much blew out. I wouldn't call these real. I gave it two stars because it's pretty.

Work great on Redcat Gen 8
I have had them in for about 2 weeks now. I just recently transferred them over to my new "all metal" suspension setup which added about 1.5lbs or or so to the truck. Overall, they performed great with the stock housings and such, and they flex good too. Have 110mm on custom mounts, and I like how they ride. Doesn't seem too wobbly or too stiff. Tried a couple jumps for giggles and it took it great, no bouncing. I like it came with extra springs, as I can see myself transferring them to a new truck at some point. Had a problem with one leaking and I realized the oil chamber has two thread points, which I tightened. I wish they came with oil, but obviously thats still every RC hobbyist's dream. Wont down them for that.

scx10用に購入しました。届いた時はシャフトがかなり渋い状態でしたが、バラしてグリスを塗って組み直すとまぁまぁな動きになりました。足もノーマルショックよりは動くようになりました。値段を考えると良いと思います。
