I got this 18days ago. Used it religiously twice a day for approximately 8 days. Since the wart was 3mm big in my finger, i thought the freezeaway can would be overkill. plus i was afraid of giving myself such a deep frostbite that i would definitely end up having to see a doc. So i used the 17% salicylic acid that came with this box. worked beautifully. only thing is, make sure you apply ONLY on the wart and not surrounding tissue. I made the mistake of letting the acid touch surrounding healthy skin , it started to peel off and become raw. So i pulled back, let the rawness heal for a day, and reapplied the salicylic acid only on the wart. You maybe tempted to pick at the wart as it peels off. i would not do that, as it would again make the area raw and painful. not to mention risk of spreading the hpv virus to other parts of your body. I always applied it after my morning or evening shower which helps soften the skin and the salicylic acid penetrates better into the water soaked wart. At ALL times i had it covered with white cloth tape. You can get this tape from walmart. and cut the size you want (cheaper than buying bandaids) Need to cover it because i don’t want it to spread anywhere else. warts are created by hpv virus. and virus spread if you are susceptible. Warts appear when our immune system is challenged. So i started paying attention to what i eat as well, started eating healthy again, fresh or frozen berries full of anti oxidants, lot more hydration with water(2L a day with a spurt of lemon in it) , NO foods that have sugar in it, no fast food, no soda and most of all i started paying attention to my stress levels. What’s the likelihood when you are stressed out, your immune system goes down too? Take a computer and load the software with more than it can handle, what happens? Everything slows down or speeds up? Our brains much like the computer. We stress it out, everything in our body…speeds up working perfectly or slows down? I also did something different, by sending positive intentions to myself, especially the wart area that’s healing. sounds silly i know…But if you believe in the power of healing energy, it doesn’t hurt to do it. Saved my self probably $500 upwards from going to a dermatologist… Read ALL the instructions on the leaflet. Make sure you know it’s a wart and not anything else. You could also get cheap online consultation with Seseme - a platform that offers doctors for much cheaper than if you walked into an office. If you have health insurance then no worries. I am a doctor so i avoided that step by diagnosing myself. I still did my research to make sure it IS a wart.. and not a melanoma(cancer) or something crazy. I trust this was helpful Below is a picture when the wart came off after one of my long hot showers. There is still some tiny black spots left on my finger, maybe it’s residual hpv virus, so i am going to treat the area until it completely clears out with minimal salicylic acid. Also i invite you to work on loving your self even more during this healing period. Having a wart can invite you to feel self conscious. People might ask “hey what happened to your finger? Ewww” You may feel a bit embarrassed which i did feel. This is called being ….human. Remember this wart is temporary. So I invite you to focus on what you can be grateful for instead. eg: you have hands and feet, you can see, you are blessed with …etc etc Because when you feel overwhelming gratitude for what you do have, can fear exist in your mind at the same time? Sending much healing energy your way🦋😘🎁🌎🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
