Great investment
I normally do not write a review, but this time I will. I ordered in winter and removed from mailbox and put the package in the refrigerator door. In a few days I pour potting soil in the bag and some rain water and returned it back to the refrig door. A week later I check, and ALL the seeds are sprouting roots! I will prepare a tray this week and plant as many as I can. If I get 150 to grow, that will give me over $500 in 10 years.... this is a great product from a great company.UPDATE: three weeks of growth and 99% germination of 75 seeds. One plant died (broken stem) other seeds germinated and still in refrig in plastic bag (and moist potting soil). I did not expect 99.5% germination. I will plant 50% of the other germinated seeds soon. I am using 50% potting soil/builder sand mixture as a growing medium. The remainder of the seeds I will try to hold until October in the bag, in the refrigerator.....

Four page disclaimer on why it’s the customers fault if it doesn’t grow
Seeds came with 4 pages of directions, mainly a disclaimer telling you that if the seeds fail to grow, it’s your fault and not the fault of the seller. The seeds smelled rotten to my wife who opened the package and planted them. Maybe that’s the normal smell, I don’t know? Will update review if any decide to sprout.

100% legit- Got Ginseng Shoots
Full disclosure i bought these seeds on a gamble knowing full well there was a 90% chance I would never see a single sprout. I did everything wrong. I did not plant the seeds immediately instead of waiting a full two days before even opening the seed bag. I threw them in a seed tray at the bottom of my grow room and forgot about them. I kept the dirt moist watering every week or so but otherwise ignored them. About two weeks in I started seeing a few green shoots coming up and I assumed they were weeds from the wheat grass planted next to this. Tonight I took a good look at the ginseng tray and lo and behold there was an unmistakable ginseng leaf. I could not believe it. Giving all my neglect I only got about 4 or 5 shoots but there are more seeds sprouting currently. This product is 100% legit and this seller really knows what they're doing. I could not be happier with the purchase.

Wont purchase again...
UpdateOut of 300 seeds only 3 sprouted and they died. Dont waste your money or time on these seeds.Rcvd seeds in timely fashion. They were not packed in sand like others mentioned. Did a float test and I would say about 50% floated. Followed directions for planting...that was 9 days ago...nothing yet.

Better than expected .
Ordered these a couple weeks ago just now getting around to this . The seed came within a week , were packaged well . You can tell they were taken care of and not just thrown together . I tested each seed to make sure they were hard and a good seed and most of them were . I planted them the same day they arrived so If they grow and do good I may update If I can remember to . I would recommend these to anyone looking ginseng seeds . Especially if your only wanting a small amount of seed to test your luck with .

FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS TO THE LETTER!
OK, I had to laugh when I first opened my package. The instructions were EPIC. But I read them all, every word. And I did exactly what I was supposed to do, back in November of last year. And I waited.Sadly, the squirrels dug up one my patches, (they do this if they suspect someone has buried something, it's just what they do) so I got smart and put chicken wire on top of the other one.Now it's April and I have over 40 healthy seedlings coming up on a north-east facing slope here in the forest. We are pleased as can be! I'm still protecting them and will do so until they are very well established. Great buy!

Doesn't match the pictures
The media could not be loaded. These came with no instructions, not germinating and no date as to when these were harvested. I don't belive they have been stratified at all.Nothing matches any of the reviews and if there has been some mistake I'd like a refund.
