Intel PRO/1000 Pt Dual Port Server Adapter

La tengo puesta en Windows 10 para hacer teaming o link agregation y funciona bien. Hay que forzar a que use otro driver pero tengo el servidor funcionando a 2 Gbps y funciona perfecto. Es una tarjeta con sus años pero merece la pena.

Ich suchte eine weitere Netzwerkkarte für meinen VMware 6.7 U3 Server, da nicht viele Karten kompatible zum VMware Server sind, gab es hauptsächlich die Intel in der engeren Auswahl. Das Original liegt so bei um die 70€, daher war es für mich fraglich ob die Karte überhaupt an das Original rankommt. Tut es. Eingebaut (ASUS X99-Deluxe 2011CPU) wurde sofort im VMware 6.7 Server erkannt und der gemessene Durchsatz entspricht den technischen Details.

As I confirmed this worked, I dug a bit deeper, be careful of BIOS PCIe allotment's, I had 1PCIe x16, 3 PCIe x1 and a PCIE X4, this was the slot I fitted it to as requires a x4. This x4 is only a x4 when PCIe 2 or 3 are not used, I had a USB 3.0 card in 3, so this disrupted the x4 to x1, so the Pro/1000T Dual server would not function. So after about 1 hour of rebuilding my PC that I wanted this card in, it worked. Windows update installed driver, I ran the latest Intel drivers,LACP team set up with my switch, now have a 2Gbe LAN connection. Just proves my Dell T3400 is the dog, no tricky setting that require 30 minutes of Motherboard Manual reading and only spotted it on the third pass can prove problematic so apologies to all concerned I am now a very happy punter.

Per chi conosce un po' la categoria computing sa che bisogna verificare la matrice di compatibilità , questa skeda di rete monta lo stesso chipset delle skede HP. Dico questo perché la skeda HP costa 106,00 euro circa mentre questa 28€. Ora mi dite xche devo spendere 80€ di più quando posso montare questa sui miei server HP ? Fa tutto quello che necessita una skeda marcata HP, l'unica cosa che sul mio HP proliant G6 360 ho dovuto smontare la lamina di alluminio perché troppo lunga da inserire nel server HP.

I bought this NIC to add to my NAS4Free server running on an ASUS C60 M1 Motherboard. The card was installed in the single 16x slot on the motherboard normally used for graphics cards. Initially the card was not recognized. After going into the BIOS ver 305 and changing the Advanced NB Configuration settings to Dual Monitor and Integrated Graphics as Auto the card was recognized. I then setup the Intel NIC dual ports as aggregated interface and made it the primary interface per this procedure [...] I then activated the RealTek interface in NAS4Free GUI web interface and assigned it a different IP address. Now the server runs on the more stable Intel dual port Interface with both ports aggregated as one IP address. The realtek motherboard interface can also be used for admin or other purposes. Very pleased with purchase so far.
