UPDATE - So far, so good...
UPDATE: Has been about 4 months now. The battery has been cycled many times and it is still working as perfectly as the day I installed it. Buy this one! Original review: Well, it fit perfectly and have used it for about a month and it has lived up to expectations. It seems like it lasts a little longer than the old one did when it was new but it could just be my perception. If it quits working well in a fairly short time, I'll update this review but so far, so good.

Fits T420 and works perfectly
Original battery died, so I got this one to replace it. Most of the time the laptop is plugged in, so I don't need the battery for much unless I'm going away.

Short Battery Life but a Good Value
This battery is a great value for the price, but do not buy if you need a long battery life. It lasts a little over an hour. For my use however that is perfectly fine. I have several set locations that I work from and can plug in as needed.

Not worth it - get a real battery
I was hesitant to buy this battery because I've had bad experiences with batteries where the price seemed too good to be true. I will always buy the OEM batteries in the future. I had this battery in my laptop for about 2 months always plugged in - fully charged. I disconnected the laptop from the AC power. In about 15 minutes the battery said it had 50% power. about 1 minute later the laptop turned off. When I plugged in the power cable and started up the laptop again, it said the battery was at 1%.

For perfectly and holding a charge

I bought one to replace the old battery from my T420. Worked great out of the box. No fuss or messing about. Clipped in seamlessly with a perfect fit and the battery life was basically the same as the expensive ones from Lenovo. If you find a deal on a used T420 this is a great option for a replacement battery.

Pro: 79% charge on arrival Con: It took some coaxing for it to fit my ThinkPad W530. The plastic spring tabs are slightly misaligned in the vertical.
