Approvals of this fitting include FDA, ANSI/NSF-61, NSF-14, CSA B1375, ASTM F877, NSF-UP, and IAPMO ASSE 1061-2006.
Constructed from polysulfone, a high-performance thermal plastic material, the Watts AquaLock Plastic Series fittings promise a long service life, delivering many years of trouble-free performance. They also feature a unique O-ring guide, which ensures a zero-leak connection, making them perfect for DIY pipe repairs.
Easy to install and handle, the AquaLock Series utilize a swivel nut with NPS straight threads and a cone seal, allowing for a straightforward installation process. This design enables the installer to thread onto NPT, NPS, BSP, and most other threads without the need for additional tools, tube inserts, or thread sealant. Simply thread on and hand tighten for a reliable connection.
