Beauty Brick Eyeshadow, Nudes, 0.42 Ounce, Powder

I’ve never ordered makeup of any kind online but I decided I would try this one. The colors are so pretty and good quality. I love how easy it goes on and blends so nicely. Five stars across the board for this eyeshadow. The pigment is rich and only takes a few strokes to get really good color. I can get a natural look and a smokey eye out of it by only using the colors in it. I take this one with me when I travel because I only need to bring it. My complexion is light to medium, but with eyeshadow primer I think darker tones could use it just as well, that's how good the pigment is. It stays put and lasts all day. I wear it up to 12 hours a day and it looks just as good at 12 hours as it did at 1 hour. I do wear it with eyeshadow primer, so I am not sure if it would last that long if it was applied without it. Sometimes I actually pass up on purchasing products that are this inexpensive because I think they will not work as well, but I am so glad I went ahead and bought it. I like it way better than a Marc Jacobs nude palette I have. I will forsure be buying more products from this brand.

I've worn makeup for years but am new to palettes. I purchased a drugstore one that had pretty, pigmented colors, but the shadows were SO intense that I felt that the wound up all looking muddy on me. This palette seemed like it would be more beginner friendly. I liked that there were several shades in the pinky brown category, which I thought would be more neutral while also working well with my brown eyes. I also liked that this palette comes with a brush and is a more compact size. Plus, it was extremely affordable! I do really like this palette. The shadows have nice pigmentation while also being easy to blend, and I found them easier to apply than the previous palette I purchased. I have experienced some fallout from the shadows. However, the staying power has been very good, although I have been lightly priming my eyes with powder or concealer. The one thing that I would note is that the colors are a bit different than I expected. The product description says that the palette includes "nudes and brights, shimmers and mattes." Well, out of the twelve shades, I believe that only three are matte, and I would not really consider any to be "brights." Also, they are pretty much all nudes, several of which look very similar. There are a couple of shades that have a slight purple-y tone, including the second-to-last one from the right (which I had thought was a dark brown). In the end, this is a very nice palette at a great price that I would recommend, especially for anyone looking for mostly shimmery neutral shades.

Third time buying LA Girl The Nudes over the past couple years. With around 25 palettes of varying quality in my collection, high end to drugstore, the LA Girl Nudes is in almost daily rotation. Why? The quality of the mattes, the color selection, and the longevity of wear. I simply love this palette and hope they never stop making it. As a mature lady, this eyeshadow goes on smoothly, doesn't settle in fine lines, and has great pigment. I use an eyelid primer before all my powder eyeshadow application (Flower Beauty, Milani, or Mac painterly paint pot, whichever I'm in the mood for). I always reach for this palette to lay down a base, there's a light peachy shade in here that I just love for this, as well as a light off-white. I am fair skinned, but there's something about this palette that probably would work for all complexions. At this price, this eyeshadow palette is a steal, I have eyeshadows that I paid a lot more for that don't make me as happy as this one does.

Cheap, didn’t shimmer

I recently purchased this pallet for my wife. She is as she puts it, "a makeup freak". So this means I am in turn a makeup freak. LOL LOL LOL I wasn't entirely sure how this would work out but I saw it and thought it would be a nice little gift. When it got here I opened it just to see what it looked like. Sometimes when you buy things the picture doesn't do it justice, either it over sales or under sales whatever it is you are buying. I love the packaging it looks sleek and I thought to myself immediately, this is going to make me look good. I also may or may not have touched the powder itself... Don't you dare judge me! It was very silky and it even had a little mirror in the actual case. When I gave it to her she almost flipped she's expressed to she was thinking about getting it, I then said I know. Love these little things and I would encourage all the guys and girls out there who want to give little just because gifts go ahead and get this got a great price point that you definitely can't beat.

I purchased the LA Girl eyeshadow palette, and I'm obsessed! The shades are pigmented, blendable, and perfect for everyday looks. The packaging is compact and travel-friendly. Highly recommend!

I love the eyeshadow palette. Very pretty colors. They don't go on cakey and last. Little bit shimmery. The only thing I didn't like was the brush that comes with it literally fell apart once I applied it to my eyes. There were bristles all over my eyelid. I thought that was strange. But I had other eyeshadow brushes on hand so wasn't a big deal.

What is the point of same shades three packs. Rather diffierent shades in each pack should have been in the set.
