Life saver
I love Caroline Foran’s podcast. It was only appropriate to buy her book. There is some amazing advice in here. I keep it on the nightstand. If you struggle with GAD and panic disorder you NEED this book.

The perfect book for understanding anxiety and finding empowerment and relief through actionable, practical measures. An unbelievably helpful resource for anyone suffering from anxiety - who might be running from it - and needs instead, ways to own it.

This book is a fantastic & easy read, once I started the book I couldn’t put it down. Caroline explains anxiety & the neuro science behind it, you can tell how much research she has done to understand it. Caroline shows great empathy having gone through extreme anxiety herself & this makes her more relatable. Not only does Caroline explain the anxiety she also gives lots of helpful ways to manage it. This book is 1000% worth every penny and I highly recommend her podcast ‘owning it’ too!

I received this book tuesday and had it read by the next morning. I could relate so much. Im currently in the worst bout of anxiety ive ever had and found this book good for explaining what is going on right now. The only part i would have liked the writer to focus on more would be the use of medication as this is something ive had to try and deal with. This chapter i felt was quickly skemed over, for obvious reasons im sure but more guidance on this would have been good. Overall this is a great book and one i feel that i will be able to come back to aswell. Kudos to the writer for her honest, no nonsense approach and advice. I hope to be in the frame of mind one day that she is now.

Following about 3 years of dealing with anxiety, I bought this book after coming across Caroline on Instagram. It’s an absolutely amazing one-stop-shop for those dealing with acute anxiety. Caroline’s “assess and address” approach is the first thing that has truly helped me to get under the skin of my anxiety. This book is not anxiety-inducing at all, and Caroline’s writing style is kind, personable and even funny at times. It removes the cognitive overload of sifting through thousands of books and internet sources and combines everything into one digestible read. Highly recommend!

I found this book really helpful - it is written sympathetically and engagingly and looks at a range of techniques for managing anxiety. Huge admiration and respect to Foran for writing so insightfully about her journey and her willingness to pass on what she's learnt. It felt like an intimate conversation with a well-informed friend. If you're struggling or have difficult days, try this. It has something for everyone and the reassurance is invaluable.
