I liked it so much I bought 2 of them. Very quick setup and comes with every cable you might need to start using it immediately. Sound quality is great and the bass is clear and present without being overly thumpy. I like that the remote has 3 preset sound profiles for quick swapping, as well as bass and treble adjustments to further tweak them and saves your profile automatically. It also has a reset button if you play with it too much and just want to set it back to default. It supports up to 6 different inputs and you can swap between them easily with it's own dedicated button. I do have 2 very minor complaints, one being the colored indicator light that tells you what mode you're in. As far as I know you cannot change what mode is what color and I use one of my soundbars with an auxiliary input exclusively so I'm stuck with a yucky yellow light. I use this on a computer setup with RGB lighting and so it clashes with the rest of my light setup. Preferably I would like to be able to set what color is for what mode but even the option to turn the indicator off would be nice. (I told you it was very minor) Secondly the bluetooth function turns it off after a short time when it's not receiving audio and so having it as an always on BT device doesn't work. A simple fix, you just have to power it up when you want to use it but I wanted to use bluetooth for the PC to help with cable management and constantly having to power it back on was a pain in the butt. As well if you're using it for music and need to pause for a phone call you have to turn it back on when you're done.

The instructions are minimal at best, they don't show you the steps. It is a bit hard to tell when the sound bar is on and off when you've not got it working yet. I had an awful time figuring out how to get it working, but finally succeeded. The instructions don't say it but should tell you that if you use a roku or other streaming device (or game box maybe?) that you probably will have to connect the sound bar to that device instead of the TV. I figured this out through hit and miss, mostly miss. Day 1: I tried both the optical connection and the RCA cable connected to my TV, couldn't get any sound, nothing. I did a lot of googling, watched a lot of youtube videos, read my TV manual several times. Day 2: I requested call from tech support. You leave your number and they call back almost instantly. they told me to try using an Aux cable. I had to buy one, it didn't come with the sound bar. They said test the aux cable from the sound bar to the tv, if that didn't work, test the sound bar with aux cable to my smart phone. It didn't work on tv but worked with the phone. Later I just decided hey connect the sound bar to the roku using the aux cable and voila it worked. too bad the roku doesn't have an extra slot where I could have connected via an optical cable or even RCA cable but it is what it is. Hopefully my comment will help other purchasers. 1) First turn tv and sound bar on, 2) run connector RCA or Aux or Optical from sound bar to roku or desk top box, 3) On sound bar remote control then click on the button that corresponds with the connector, whether RCA/Aux/Optical. and voila! I had a hard time telling when the sound bar was on or off because there's a red light on all the time. UGH. So I put a flash drive that had music files on it into the USB port and clicked the "Aux" button on the remote and when music played, I knew the sound bar was on. This might be a lot easier with a smart tv. Mine is a Samsung 50" projection tv built in 2007,

The sound bar is a good option for small and midsize TVs like. Setup was easy. I plugged in the included AC adapter and an included optical cord directly into my TCL TV. From my TV menu, I chose PCM as the output method and the sound bar was quickly working. On the front, there is a fairly inconspicuous LED, which indicates the current input of the sound bar. For example, blue is for Bluetooth and white is for optical output. The LED is not overly bright and will not interrupt one’s viewing experience. For those wanting more traditional outfit options, RCA and auxiliary cord inputs are possible. See the pictures attached to this review for more details. Some users may want to know that the height of the speaker is approximately 4 inches. This may block your TV remote’s sightlines; the television may need to be elevated on blocks to control both the television and the sound bar without problem. This is no problem at all for my use and I knew this when purchasing. The remote is infrared, requiring a direct line of sight for use. The remote includes volume up and down, mute, and quick switching between inputs. Adjustments for the treble and bass are easy to control. Three presets are included: movie, music, and dialogue. My primary TB use is for sports. I found that the movie input is the best option, as bass is present and stadium/court sounds are best highlighted. Given the 80W output, this bar gets louder than I would ever need it to. No sound distortion is obvious, even at the highest volumes. For the price, sound quality is excellent and it compares to my LG sound bar on my primary TV. This sound bar is an excellent option for those needing something more than default speakers on a secondary or tertiary TV. For my use, I have a 40 inch television and no receiver. The sound bar does a great job standing in for a receiver and a more expensive bookshelf speaker setup.

For the price this soundbar is really good. I set it up in a living room that is 20x15’ and the bass response was decent. It’s not a Dolby Atmos quality soundbar so understand what you are getting in order to set the expectation. I purchased this soundbar for my mother who needs something to help clarify speech when watcher her tv shows (she has hearing loss ). This soundbar definitely helps her to hear the dialogue better. The remote has all the settings on physical buttons so there are no menus to scroll through ( great idea for the elderly). Sound bar ships with an optical audio cable, power supply and RCA cables for older record or tape players. The only thing it doesn’t come with is a HDMI cable for the ARC function, so add one to your shopping cart before checking out. It also comes with a wall Mount kit, which is a plus.

My aunt was having problems distinguishing vocals on TV. She watches a lot of YouTube videos where the volume can vary from one video to the next. Other times, she would have problems hearing the vocals in movies. After reading reviews, I choose this model to help her get more enjoyment out of her viewing pleasure. It was really easy to sit up and it comes with a template and brackets for mounting to the wall. However the size was perfect to position the unit in front of her TV. The sound is crystal clear for vocal listening and she loves that you can control the bass and the treble output from the remote. The input connection is a color coated indicator with an LED display in the middle of the bar which gives you a visual of the current attached audio connection. The remote is narrow and is easily manageable in the hand. The only thing I wish it had was an indicator to show the volume, bass and treble levels. But then again, since this unit has excellent sound quality, your ears will tell you when the level is just right. My aunt is very happy with the results.

Bought this for my LG 55" smart TV and it worked ok initially with the supplied optical cord when tv was set on internal speaker+optical (for some reason, did not work on optical only, but that was no big deal). Quit working after about 3 weeks; ordered a new optical cord from Amazon and that fixed the problem. So the soundbar is fine but if you order it I highly recommend you also order a optical cable.

This is a good sound bar for the price easy to hook up Bluetooth works fine has many options for hookup and very happy with it sound is great for the size I would recommend this to anyone looking for a reasonable price sound bar

I live in a small space (5th wheel) as a full time RVer. I researched and read the various reviews on the smaller less expensive TV sound bars and opted to give the Megacra a try. It was an easy setup right out of the box. The manual has got to be one of the easiest manuals I ever read/followed for and easy setup. I easily paired it to my older Logitec/Harmony 700 remote. The sound that this sound bar put out was a big BIG difference over the TV speakers. With the volume cranked up all the way there was no distortion what so ever and in my small space I do not need the volume that high. I like the preset buttons for Movie-Music-Dialog this really helps depending on the type of show I’m watching. The BlueTooth pairing is easy and I can easily play the music from my phone. Overall, great value, great sound, and easy setup.
