Ice Shaver Replacement Blade Compatible with Original Magic Bullet Food Processor

I didn't even know they had this, but I love it. I'm still exploring all of the possibilities of the Bullet, and based on a couple of reviews and the price, I decided to give this a try. I actually haven't used it to "shave ice" yet, but it definitely does a good job chopping everything up--ice included. However, this blade is noticeably larger than the other cross blade that came with it...therefore, it takes more power to run it. Where I've found this the most useful is to "finish" the smoothie. By that I mean use the other cross blade (that came with) to chop up ice, carrots, spinach, banana, apple, etc. like you normally would. Then pull that blade off and put this one on and run it for a bit again. Seems to "pulverize" it a bit more and give it more of a "smoothie" consistency like that of a Vitamix or something similar than when just using the other cross blade alone. Overall, very smooth purchase experience, arrived as scheduled, and am very pleased with the product. Thanks!Update--6/10/15: I still use this blade more than any other and my Bullet makes, on average, two shakes a day. I cooked my first bullet base because I didn't use any common sense, and based on some of the one-star reviews, it appears others aren't either. Don't fill your cup all the way guys! Also, if possible, put something soft (banana, spinach, etc.) between your ice and the blades. If that's NOT possible, put a little water or juice in it. The Bullet is a little underpowered for just packing a cup full of ice and expecting it to be shredded flawlessly. If you do that, something will break, which is probably why the folks who make the Bullet don't sell these directly. Use your head folks. :-)

I purchased these as a replacement for the original blade that was leaking and wearing out. I ordered three because they were so cheap and I use them every day.However, I was a bit skeptical when I received them because the blades, while longer than the original, actually don't appear to be that sharp. There's more of a blunt edge versus a sharp blade like the original. Also, the circular rubber seal insert on the inside was not even attached. But that turned out to be easy to attach so really a none issue.The performance of these was way better than I ever expected! They do a much better job at crushing ice and generally do a better job at stirring when using the bigger cups which tended to not stir towards the bottom (opposite side of the blade attachment). I used to have to blend, then either shake or stir my smoothies and then reblend. With this, they can easily crush and blend the 20 oz cups without ever having to stop the magic bullet. Really glad I got three for this price!

I've had a Magic Bullet for years, but until now never had a need for blending ice. I recently came up with a recipe for a low carb green tea frappuccino that tastes just like Starbuck's version, but my Bullet kept leaving small chunks of ice in the blend. So I ordered this blade. And what a surprise! My frappe now come out absolutely perfect, with smoothly shaved ice throughout. My wife loves them. This blade is absolutely wonderful, and I highly recommend it. If you're interested in the frappe recipe:Ingredients:1 cup Silk Unsweetened Soy Milk1 level tsp Matcha Powder1/2 eyedropper Vanilla Creme Sweet Leaf Liquid Stevia3/4 cup crushed iceWhipped Cream for topping (optional)Put all ingredients in your Bullet blender (if you don't have one of these, you owe it to yourself to buy one Right Now!) and blend for one minute. As I said, this tastes just like the Starbucks Green Tea Frapp, but has only one carb (without the whipped cream)!!! Our whole household gives enthusiastic thumbs up for this drink!

It did not work for me as the Magic Bullet grinding tips (all 3) broke after 1 minute of use. It worked for so many but did not work for me implies, i need to rethink, not just blame the part that arrived. I think its not the problem with the blade, may be my Magic Bullet is 1 and 1/2 yr old. So this could work for those who needs replacement for their new Magic Bullet not old ones. I will buy a new chopper and blender. Hope in the future Magic Bullet makes another version of having only 5-pc set with Bullet, blender and chopper only and not all 17-pc set where the cost applies to all pieces. Especially for those who already have extra pieces, they don't need them again if their Bullet, chopper blades or blender blades doesn't work. Iam forced to buy Bella 12-pc set which i don't know whether i can trust the brand? Magic bullet always worked for me for so any years. But now iam forced to stop buying Magic Bullet 17-pc bcoz i don't need extra pieces all the time. For those who need all 17-pc its really worth every penny. For those who don't need all , a newer version would be great appreciated by the company.

This has the appearance of a Magic Bullet replacement but these are not blades at all, they are not sharp and are simply pieces of metal in the shape of a blade. They do not crush ice, nor do they properly grind coffee. I tried to make a smoothie with this and it simply would not work. The frozen fruit kept getting stuck and the mechanism wouldn't turn. Don't waste your money...

great product. This blade is solid and skookumly built Capable of shaving ice like butter. Perfect for making smoothies out of frozen ice fruit chunks, that can otherwise destroy the standard blade.

El producto no es como la foto, si bien embona perfecto en la jarra, las aspas no tienen filo, con la velocidad eso no es tanto problema, el problema está en que no es hermético, por lo que después de un tiempo apesta debido a los residuos acumulados, o simple agua, que se filtra entre los espacios del cilindro de tuerca y las aspas, lo que lo hace un producto no higiénico para el manejo de los alimentos, requiere un lavado minucioso y uso de cloro antes de su uso para evitar contaminación de los alimentos procesados.
