Updates any room looks good and well made. Easy to install and worth the cost.

We loved (kinda) our original chandelier - because of its beautiful and unique design. It's single flaw was that it used small Halogen light bulbs that frequently burned out and were expensive to replace. On top of that - those bulbs didn't really get very bright - and then eventually, one of the fixtures died, and we had one light out at all times. We shopped around at traditional brick & mortar stores hoping to find a worthy replacement - to no avail. Then - it hit us - check Amazon! Sure enough - Amazon has TONS of beautiful options - though not all would work in our smallish space. THIS chandelier fit the bill however. It is even more beautiful than our previous chandelier - but thankfully takes STANDARD size E26 bulbs. This was easy to install (I have no electrical experience whatsoever) in an existing fixture and didn't take long at all. The only modification I had to make was to shorten the wire because our ceiling is 8 feet and over a table - so the chain was not used. That being said - it does come with a long chain if you have high ceilings. The domes around the lights are a frosted white (not alabaster I believe) - and is nice and bright. I added 60W equivalent dimmable soft white LEDs - which are not as soft as incandescent lights - but look beautiful. I will be adding a dimmer switch - because with 5 60W equivalent bulbs - it can be too bright in certain situations (a good thing!). We've gotten some serious complements on this chandelier since we installed it, and we marvel at its beauty every time we flip the switch on. If you're looking for a beautiful, bright chandelier to your home - look no further.

We bought this light fixture because we love the design, and the reviews made it seem easy to install. If you’re a DIYer depending on instructions, buyer beware! It isn’t super complicated, but the one-page instructions are not sequential and lack crucial information related to final assembly. Ultimately, we figured out the steps but were hit with another issue - there is about 8 feet of chain included and the cord is equally long. We weren’t expecting to need to cut the chain or strip wires for a lighting feature that is advertised as a dining table, but the core and chain length were long enough for the fixture to rest on the floor. At the end of the day, we got it installed and it’s gorgeous, but be prepared for a little more work than expected!

Update! The switch at the wall is an older dimmer switch. We put LED bulbs in it. Have to use the old fashioned bulbs with an old dimmer switch. I'm not an electrician. Would have been good to notify in the description somewhere maybe. So the rest of this review is incorrect! The wiring was correct. It did arrive with one globe broker. Original review: Well, there were reviews saying wiring was wrong and I took the gamble. The lights flicker then go off. Something wired wrong. The fixture looks great. I had to disassemble it, big hassle, after assembling, going up on the ladder, trying the old fixture again. Big waste of time. Wrote seller, no response. Choose something else.
