My mom loves these pens. I am promptly notified when I am to order more. They have a relatively thicker line; they do NOT have a fine point.The ink is nice and dark, and glides "slickly."The push button works well. The barrel is of a medium thickness; The grip is a soft rubber, or maybe silicone.

Everyone has their favorite and these are mine. I have to buy packs because people keep stealing them at work. 0.5 is the definitive size for pens and they glide so well.

These are the best pens on the planet! I will never buy another type of pen again!

It's such a smooth writing pen. Very impressed.

I normally write with felt-tip pens, but on occasion ball points are needed. I have used several before, but happened to borrow one of these from my brother for some quick note and decided to get my own. They write smooth, without ever skipping, gumming up, or blotching. I also love the click top as opposed to a lid, as it makes the transition from storing to writing that much faster! Depending on what type of surface you are writing on (glossy vs. matte finish), the ink can smudge a bit, but that's to be expected with any type of non-permanent maker/pen. If I run out of these, I will certainly re-order Pilot G2, but may opt for the fine vs. extra fine point.

Bought hundreds of these now. They are great every day pens. Consistent. Do not leave on nice furniture, bed, or near clothes you love - they will be ruined. Occasionally a pen tip will get covered and all over your fingers, but this is rare. Overall, I love these pens for day to day use.

I prefer to write with fine-point pens, but after a short while they usually jam up on me and stop writing altogether. I borrowed someone's Pilot G2 pen and was greatly impressed with it. I figured that the gel formulation was what made it write so smoothly and reliably compared to other pens, so I bought these G2s and have been very pleased with them.I give this pen 5 stars for its outstanding writing ability, general functionality and comfort, but I must deduct 1/2 star for its clunky design. No one would ever call it sleek or stylish, but it has held up well being carried in my pants pocket over long periods of time along with my cell phone, keys, golf balls, whatever.When/if these pens ever run out of ink I will definitely buy more--from Amazon, of course, my go-to source for just about everything these days.
