5190212-SX Marine Horn with White Grill,1 Pack

Not sure why so many users have issues with this horn. It installed for me with no issue and works as a horn should. Simply plugs into the existing horn wiring hot and ground. I reused my stainless grill and stainless screws. As for the manufacture including mounting hardware they have no idea what surface you're installing in/on so most omit hardware which is fine. If your going to work on boats etc have the hardware you need on hand. I rather source and use my own stainless screws of correct length for my application. Same for the template. Easy to use a tape measure and measure and mark where you need to cut. In my case it fit in the existing oval opening.

Excellent Horn!! Very Loud and a great Marine option. Low note and deep. Great replacement. They didn’t send template. So that was a bit hard. I attached a video.

Was not a direct replacement. Had to to some modifications to make it work. They should include a template. Would have saved the half the time. Sounds great and way louder than my dying horn.

This horn packs a punch! Surprisingly loud sound. Durable build and functions as intended. This is a horn replacement for my previous so I kept the original stainless steel bezel instead of the one that came with it.

I bought this horn a few weeks ago and just finished installing it 10 minutes ago. Then I just got a request to review it. A little eerie with the timing but I'll go with it. I thought this horn was a drop-in replacement for my 2002 Four Winns Funship but it's not. The mounting holes are 4 1/2 in apart instead of 4 in and the mounting screws go through the faceplate whereas the old faceplate snapped on. Nevertheless, by drilling 1 hole and switching to nuts and bolts instead of screws I was able to easily mount this horn. When I first tried the horn I got 1 click and then it was dead. My first thought was "what a piece of junk" but further investigation revealed that I had blown the fuse. My old horn used a 5 amp fuse and this horn needs 6 amps. I replaced the 5 amp fuse with a 10 amp and it works fine. I can't say anything about reliability yet since it's only been 10 minutes but it sounds OK and worked for 2 toots.

4 stars for lack in screws, and blueprint to lay out on the boat where to cut, the old one was way smaller then this one, so i had to cut a lot to fit it in, its loud tho so its fine,

Nice compact horn. The white isn't a bright white more of an off white. A template would have made it easier to install.

Fit perfectly 4.5 inches between screw holes. I own a fourwinns. Like I read before buying this horn it takes more than 5 Amp fuse all I had was a10amp fuse and works great louder than old one.

The box the product was in was totally crushed on arrival and the two little screws to hold on the face plate were missing
