THICK METAL AND IT WORKS, VERY CHEAP AS IT SHOULD BE. DONT BUY "MADE IN AMERICA" BRANDED STUFF AS IT IS ONLY MEANT TO RIP YOU OFF. THIS IS A VERY AFFORDABLE MOUNT AND IT WORKS!!!!!!!!! BEEN 3 YEARS STILL NEVER SEEN A VIBRATION, SHAKE, OR GLITCH. IF YOU MOUNT IT RIGHT, YOULL BE ALRIGHT.

I have not installed lights yet as of this post. I read other reviews about the finish and I had some trepidation about painting or powder coating before installing. If you are looking at these you have probably read forums and compared prices to other name brand items. When the package arrived, the two mounts were individually bubbled wrap. Tightly fitted with a note about returns and/or refunding through the actual company. Mine appeared to be powder coated without any chips or flaking....perfect condition I would rate. I too hold high expectations. The thickness is outstanding and although no lights are mounted, you could do pull ups on these. They clear the windshield and wipers no matter how they are mounted (forward or back on slots). About i 10-15 minute installation after OCD recheck of spacing and tightness. Lights will be here on the 5th and switches are on their way. Only if something changes on the negative will I add to this but it definitely seems like quality on fit and finish are great with an effortless installation. They are low profile and I do not see how another 30-50 dollars will buy you more.

If you’re looking at any other mount on amazon, just don’t. This is Atleast double the thickness in metal of the other ones out there. Super sturdy and won’t have your lights bouncing around. Easy to instal and looks good.

I saw the reviews about the coating not being very good. I was pleased to see that the coating on mine was not chipped off. I installed them the same day, and after two days rust started coming out from some areas. I should have spray painted them before installing. Other than that inconvenience, they are beefy and fit perfectly. Just spray them with paint before installing.

These brackets have been rock solid for almost 2 years. No vibrations, no paint chips.

This bracket is thick. Cheap and solid. So thick it leaves a gap in your hood. Closes fine, but doesn’t look clean. I installed KC lights and had to drill the hole bigger. I will probably buy something else. Oh yeah, installed on a 2014 Tacoma

I took a chance and bought these for my GX460. They work but they hit the plastic cowl on the passenger side. You have to either notch the bracket or the cowl, otherwise your light will sit crooked and the bracket will wear through the cowl. This wasn’t a huge deal for me, the brackets are very sturdy (no bouncing lights!) so I just notched the bracket. These brackets are very low profile which is nice. I wish they were a single bolt design so that you don’t have to worry about misalignment the hood. I removed the front bolt, installed the bracket, then removed the rear bolt and swung the bracket into place to install the rear bolt. This minimized any chance of misaligning the hood but is a little bit of a pain.

These do exactly what these are supposed to do, no vibration even off roading. Fit is great and the metal is thicker then I thought. Installation was a breeze. I would definitely buy again

Had these on my truck for almost 2 years now! Have been fantastic. The powder coating is great and they still look brand new!

Same as the other people, the paint was chipped in spots leaving bare metal exposed. I coated it with bedline and installed the next day. The fit is perfect, and i couldnt ask for any better. 4 stars because of the poor powdercoating it came with.
