Quest Bar Protein Bar, Lemon Cream Pie, 2.12 Ounce (Pack of 12)

The Lemon Cream Pie flavor Quest bars are good but not great. I like the lemony tang to the flavor, and the texture is good, but there's no taste or texture of pie crust. Not sure why not - they could have used the crunchy chocolate cookie from the Cookies and Cream flavor, or something like them but not chocolatey. Still, a pretty good taste overall if you think of it as lemon pie filling rather than lemon pie.

Had high expectations after reading the reviews...high amount of protein in each bar BUT extremely strange consistency...have tried 2 flavors...both just OK...nothing here to get excited about...better than some...don't expect a wonderful bar...try one...either you will like it or go on and try something else.

It gave it a shot. It was not for me. The consistency of these bars are VERy chewy. Nobody I gave them too liked them either. The nutritionals are great!

I am on a very-low-sugar, no grain diet and have been for a year. It is so hard to find good tasting protein bar for meal replacements or post-exercise snacks. The QuestBar is the best that I know of for low-carb lovers. And I LOVE the lemon cream pie flavor. Most protein bars do chocolate pretty well but low-carb and fruit flavors are apparently harder to do well. QuestBar figured it out here.I would recommend you go to a local store and try the different flavors and then order them in bulk here on Amazon. I love saving money, and I have had no problems with the bars I receive. They are always fresh with expiration dates at least 8-12 months out. Beware of buying from some 3rd party sellers, as I have gotten older boxes that were obviously messed up by temperature extremes. But these bars ordered through Amazon Prime shipping were perfect, and I will be ordering again.The only thing that could make them better is to put them on Subscribe and Save so we can save more money on them and keep in stock without having to come back and order more.

I would never get these again, in any of the several flavors I ordered. Not tasty and probably not that healthy an option. Stick to real food.

While this isn't the best tasting protein bar I've ever had, because it doesn't contain a ton of sugar and chocolate, it is still a good protein bar. The calorie to protein ratio is good and it contains some decent fiber. So when you are attempting to get that set of six pack abs you have to remember it is done in the kitchen!

Ordered the wrong ones! Wanted the lemon cake, not the lemon pie!

I love these bars. They have a clean taste that doesn't grow old, which is a high priority for me. I don't care for bars that have too much going on in the flavor department because I'm always grossed out after a few servings and can't go back. The ingredient list is also impressive for this class of products. Lot's of fiber, low on carbs. This one is in my top 3 in my protein bar rotation. Highly recommend.
