Great tool for the smoker and grill
I love to cook out on the grill and the smoker. Call it a passion of mine, if you will. With the advent of continuing vision loss, I try to find ways to make my life easier. This double spatula is perfect for me and others facing similar challenges to be able to pursue our passion for outdoor cooking. When I received this, it brought a huge smile to my face. It’s exactly what I needed. PROS: quality made, longer length to keep from getting burnt, easy to clean CONS:,none noted at this time

Great for Grilling
Excellent quality, sturdy, and the long handle keeps hands from getting burned.

Works great for burgers as I wanted
This is a well-made product that is great for flipping burgers without them sliding all over the place. Why I gave it only 4 stars is that it takes some getting used to. Instead of being open and then clamping the two handles together to hold the burger, you open the handle first and let the spring come down on the burger to hold it. Cleaning you must get between the letters.

Solid and useful
Honestly, I was looking for something a little different, but this was the closest I could find. It’s surprisingly effective though and while there are a couple of little thing I’d change, it’s in some ways better and I’m glad I made the purchase. The good: - In contrast to some complaints I’ve read, I think the little thumb lever is perfectly placed. When I’m holding the turner at the far end of the handle, opening it up is easy and natural. I wouldn’t have wanted that piece any farther back. It does the job well and is plenty removed from the heat. I think the mechanics would suffer if they tried to bring it further back. The design on that thumb lever is in fact one of the features that most impresses me about this device. - There’s a beveled edge on the bottom that’s sloped just enough that it gets under everything I’ve barbecued. But it’s not so sharp that there’s a serious risk of cutting yourself accidentally. - The opening—front and back—do a decent job of accommodating various reasonably expected thicknesses. It might or might not be optimally sized, but even if not, I respect the compromise. If they’d made it wider, it wouldn’t work as well for thinner items; if they’d made it narrower it wouldn’t work for thick items. The following critiques aren’t deal breakers and I can see that solving them while retaining current functionality could be difficult: - it could be a tad wider. It’s fairly wide though and seems at least wide enough for everything I’ve thrown at it. - the tension could be a little stronger. This is especially noticeable on sausages and hotdogs (in particular the narrower ones) that have a propensity to roll out. It works though. And, to be fair, other tools might be the best route when cooking especially the narrow dogs. - It’s a bit of a stretch on the thickest steaks (basically the thickest, short of a full roast). Again though, when the steak gets thick enough that it’s a problem, regular tongs might be more appropriate. It’s great for reasonable thicknesses. - I used to have a similar device with four thin tines on one side. That was pretty great and I’d prefer it. I saw a few options from other sources that have tines, but none like what I was actually looking for and I’m happy that this was my best available option. Overall, I’m very happy with the purchase and would buy it again.

Great Idea
Great idea, but a bit cumbersome to use

Good heavy spatula
I like the spatula: it is heavy, solid, and has a beveled edge which makes turning sandwiches easier. I would rather it was a little shorter for normal kitchen use with a skillet, but I can understand using 16" on a grill needing a longer handle. I made ham and cheese grilled sandwiches and used a table knife to scoot the sandwich out between the spatulas when I flipped it; the spatula is long for bread slices, but probably perfect for steaks and burgers. Good product!

Beautiful Premium Quality Piece
Well made, you feel as this is a solid piece of gear to handle your steak cooking. It is very easy to handle, although washing it is a bit tricky because of the cutout from the word 'Glory'. But not a deal breaker, as I still need to wash the tool regardless. Other than that, the price is fair; so I would recommend you to at least try it. You can always return it if need be. Great find!
