This stool is fantastic. We bought for our son who plays double bass. It is fully adjustable, and easy for him to operate. We love the portability. It came 90% assembled. We just had to figure out the seat angle lever, as it was one we haven’t seen before. There are 6 pages of instructions and 4 are in German and 2 are in English. The page for the seat angle lever was in German, but it had pictures we used to figure out the lever. And the foot rest piece has lock nut screws, so be sure you are putting it at the height you want, as it won’t be easy to adjust on a whim. The stool is expensive, but we bought as an investment because our 12 year old travels for a couple orchestras, and every venue has a different stool or seat, or none at all. This will allow him to always have a seat that he knows is comfortable and correct for playing. The pneumatic adjustment is great! Would recommend to other users looking for a sturdy, well made musicians stool!

I like almost everything about this stool ... I'm a little on the tall side and most music store staple offerings just are not high enough ... now I can get a stool with a height that suits me which can be adjusted with ease for various applications or when someone else with different physical features wants to use it ... it travels well and is built solid enough to take the rigors of gigging ... the seat is very comfortable: thick padding / size and shape that contours well ... as I said, it appears to be one of the best choices out there for musicians who need comfort, portability, adjustability and durability ... *I have only one negative: The foot rest, while adjustable, it is not a quick change like the seat height. You'll want to find a good setting and leave it there. If the adjustment for the footrest were enhanced to be as easy as the seat, this would be as perfect a stool as could be found, in my opinion. Note: The price is high so if you just need something to sit on without being concerned with the features this stool offers, then save your money. However, if you have been constantly unsatisfied with cheaper offerings out there, like I have, either due to the lack of adjustability or questionable durability, then cut your losses and end your search here ... as I said, very close to perfect for an active musician ...

Stool seat is comfortable but rubber legs keep falling off. Contacted seller and will sell new parts but won't replace parts that should stay on stool after 3 months...Not good customer service for a $324 seat and rubber feet are less than $5 to replace...Buy Elsewhere !!!

First off...I am a big guy at 6'5" and pushing 300lbs. Needless to say I wanted a stool that was sturdy enough but also adjustable enough. I wanted this for Double Bass, especially when I am standing at long rehearsals. However, I was very hesitant based on the price and looking to go with something cheaper. After a lot of looking (and reading reviews) my wife talked me into this one (which was also highly rated at my favorite online double bass retailer...but they did not offer a version without the backrest). It came well packed, and other than attaching the footrest it was fully assembled. The biggest challenge (trial and error) was finding a good height for both the stool and the footrest. I eventually played it for awhile only to lower it a bit more and bingo...the perfect setup. I can now transition quickly from sitting to standing with ease. The saddle shape and cushion is excellent, as is the build quality. I also love how it folds and is easy to transport. When sitting is it rock solid and I am fully supported. Note that earlier I mentioned backrest. I didn't order one with it due to 1)cost and 2)a review that mentioned the backrest made it less portable. After using this about two weeks now I am glad I didn't buy the backrest. I find the position I have doesn't need it, and I can see it would make it much less portable. Still, I can easily add it if my back demands it down the road. Finally, the adjustability is excellent. I have regular height stools for playing guitar (about 24") and am running this right at 30" and it is perfect for DB. Recall I am 6'5". I could raise this much higher, but even a few inches higher and I was having to raise myself up to get on the stool (I have a 34" inseam). At 30" I just sit back with no issues and easily stand up while playing. So, if you are like me and a bit put off by the price, don't be. This one is totally worth it and will get a lot of use. It has a 5 year warranty that gives me piece of mind as well.

Finally! This is the perfect stool for any musician who performs seated or even half seated. I just received mine and the adjustments are phenomenal for comfort and convenience. Sturdier than I expected. Looks like K&M improved the foot rest to allow adjustments since previous models according to previous reviews. A bit pricey for a stool but it will pay for itself in the long run. For the price the features, design, durability has to be on point. Not as heavy as I was expecting and manageable for its structure. If it was $50-$60 less I’d give it 5 1/2 stars...lol!

My husband loves this stool! He likes to be in a sitting position when playing for long periods, and has always been at the mercy of whatever chair or stool was available at the place and time. We finally started looking for a stool for him to have, that was comfortable yet light and easy to pack up and carry. This stool is the ultimate session and gigging musician's stool. The seat is extremely comfortable, angle adjustable and awesome looking. The pneumatic cylinder makes it very convenient to adjust the height, even while seated, and the height adjustable footrest simply adds to the comfort and flexibility. The hardware quality is excellent throughout, and after use, the entire thing quickly folds up into a flat 14 lb. package...well worth every penny.

I've now been using this stool for a few years now, playing in bands at least once per week. It has withstood the rigours of the road and gigging .... and still looks like new! My only negative is that the screws on the underside of the seat sometimes loosen, you can tell when this is happening though and it's a simple job to re-tighten. K&M make a few of these style of stools - this pneumatic one with the leatherette seat is the one to get! K&M quality is renowned - this is no exception!

Ho deciso di acquistare questo sgabello seguendo i suggerimenti di due miei colleghi. Devo ammettere che è veramente comodo, si può regolare in più posizioni: altezza, altezza del poggia-piedi e inclinazione della seduta. Scrivo la recensione dopo averlo provato durante lo studio e durante numerose ore di orchestra. Lo sgabello se alzato tutto diventa praticamente un trono, per quelli che temono sia troppo basso vi posso garantire che non lo è, io sono alto due metri e mi avanza ancora qualche buco da poter alzare. Il prodotto è comodo anche per il trasporto anche se devo dire che per spostamenti costanti è un po' pesante...forse troppo, ma sicuramente questo peso assicura stabilità e solidità al prodotto. Non è provvisto di schienale, quello va acquistato a parte. Si monta facilmente, bisogna solo avvitare qualche vite, è provvisto di un piccolo manuale di istruzioni. Spedizione fulminea, imballaggio eccellente. Veramente nulla da dire, è veramente un ottimo investimento. Lo consiglio vivamente a tutti!

Ich habe den Hocker erworben, um in der Küche beim Schnippeln der Zutaten an unserem Ausziehtisch sitzen zu können. Alle Klappstühle waren zu niedrig und alle Barhocker und Stehhocker zu hoch und auch noch zu klapprig. Ich wiege 128 KG und der Stuhl steckt mich ohne Ächzen und Knarren weg. da gingen sicher noch 25 KG mehr. Stabil ohne Ende, Stahlrohre und diese wie es aussieht pulkverbeschichtet, absolut wertige Verarbeitung. 5 Jahre Garantie, sehr bequeme Sitzfläche, Höhenverstellbar vom Hocker bis zum Barhocker, da kann nix schiefgehen. Der Preis ist nicht gerade niedrig, aber der Qualität und Verarbeitung des Produktes absolut angemessen. Eines der wenigen verbliebennen Produkte MADE IN GERMANY, alleine schon deshalb sollte man es kaufen... ☺ Wer billig kauft, kauft meistens doppelt! Ich würde diesen Hocker SOFORT wieder kaufen !!!

座面を固定するレバーが、買ってすぐにぽろっと落ちて取り付け不可。 座面角度固定は出来てるので、まぁ何とか使えますが、移動の際には折りたためないので、何だかなぁ…という感じで残念です。ギター用の椅子としてはまぁ高い方の買い物でしたので。 高さの調整が、もう少し低く出来ると、色んなシチュエーションに対応出来ていいのにと思いました。 座面や作りはどっしり頑丈なので、いい感じなのに、ちょっと残念でした…。
