Steve Madden Women's Avilla Engineer Boot

They just arrived today, so I cannot comment on durability, but at first glance, they are incredibly gorgeous! Even nicer than I had expected. I ordered the brown leather since I have quite a few pairs of black leather boots, and wanted something different. These are a beautiful chocolate brown, with that sort of smooth "broken in" look to it. They look like a high quality boot. Very attractive. And the brass accents are a nice touch as well.The foot of the boot fits as expected, but the shaft is a bit on the snug side. Not enough to be uncomfortable, but if you have large calves, I would not suggest these boots. I can wear these with my jeans tucked in, and they are great, but if you have larger than average calves, they may be too tight for you.But for me, they fit me perfectly, look fantastic, and I got a great deal on the price. So I am THRILLED with these babies :)

I love these boots, they look fantastic. I think a few things to note is that these are actually suede material, a few reviewers were surprised when they got the boot and I understand, they don't look like suede from the pictures but they are. I have very small calves--12.5 inches--and most boots leave 2-3 inches of wiggle room around my calves. These fit just perfectly, there's about 0.5 inch wiggle room which is great if I want to wear thick socks or leg warmers.

I love these boots and would give them 5 stars if the buckles were silver instead of gold. They have a narrow shaft, which I needed. I wear an 8 1/2- 9, and got these in the 8 1/2, which was perfect for me (I have narrow feet too!). If you have wider feet or want to wear thick socks, you may want to get the 9. The Steve Madden store was out of these, so I'm very happy I found them on Amazon!

The boot itself is wonderfully made, but unfortunately I had to return it because it because the brown was actuallyMuch darker than expected and because it's almost like a suede material. I don't personally like that, but others may.But five stars because it's a great style, nice snug fit, I'm sure people will like it.

This is a very good looking boot and an excellent price for real leather, but the size was not right. I had tried the same brand and style on in a store so ordered that exact size and was disappointed to find it did not fit at all, would not even give enough to get my foot in. I was not able to wear them and had to return them.

I love these boots. They are not narrow in the foot but they are narrow in circumference which is what I was looking for. They look great on because there's no gap at the top. I love the style and they are very comfortable.

These boots were not as described. Description stated circumference to be 15.5", but in fact they were just 14". Could not get them zipped, but also the foot bed felt short and narrow. I returned them the same day I received them. The other thing I noted was the leather seamed to be of a low quality. To say the least I was disappointed. I have purchased other boots by Steve Madden & absolutely love them. Not sure what happened with this style, but I would not recommend them.But I would give 5 stars to Amazon on their Customer Service.

These shoes fit as expected for a size 7. However, my legs are extremely thin. If they weren't, then these shoes would never have fit around my legs. Even now, I probably will never be able to wear thick pants with these. Overall great though! Nice quality.
