Most reliable nailer
Owned one of this and sold it because the lack of use. Bought this one few weeks ago because now I need it, and the choice was obviously. Previous was excellent this will too. The only con is that compared to other brands, it weigh a little bit more, and that takes a toll when working various hours with the nailer. Bought an adapter so I can use my other brand batteries in the DeWalt nailer. Would absolutely recommend this product.

Works great
General contractor here. We needed something to have on hand for odd and end framing or blocking etc. This has worked great.

Amazing!
Worth every penny. It’s a time saver not having to pull out the compressor. Couple batteries and you’re good to go!

Good tool ar a good price.
Easy to load and use, excellent battery life, not too heavy. Will get a bent nail jam if you hit a hard spot in the wood.

Swing and a miss
First off, I want to say that I am a huge fan of DeWalt tools, and I’ve got thousands of dollars worth of them to prove it. I do home remodeling for a living, so I use my tools every day in a professional setting. This thing so far is absolute junk. I fired less than 10 nails through it and had a jam. In order to get the jam cleared, you have to take the whole front of the tool apart. So I did that thinking it was a fluke and fired about 10 more nails through it and experienced a double feed, which was even more catastrophic. That required me to take the tool apart again, and cut the nail out with a pair of pliers. The nails I am using, or Metabo and I have fired thousands of them through my pneumatic nailer with no problems. Also, the magazine is smaller, so you have to refill it more often, which isn’t really a problem because you can’t get through a whole strip of nails before it jams. And then, there is the rafter hook, which might as well be made out of paper Mâché because it is a flimsy piece of plastic that spins around and gets in your way when you don’t need it. I have the little brother to this which is the 20 V 16 gauge and it works like a dream. This thing needs to go back into the development stage for a while I guess. You cannot charge this much money for a tool and have it fail so often. This gun is marketed as a professional quality nailer, but it would take months to frame a house with this thing. I could have bought a Paslode or a Metabo, but I wanted to stick with yellow. Lesson learned.

Second one I bought because the first was so good
Bought one of these 2 years ago and just took on a major addition project and needed a second nail gun for framing. These are great nail guns and have never let me down
