Q: Why no lids? If these both came with lids you'd have my money by now.

My assumption is that lids are not included because they are seldom used with frying pans. I just bought a couple of after-market lids (the sizes are standard, so they fit nicely) for those times when I do need a lid. Also, some cooks might prefer a glass lid (I do for the 12") so not including a lid wasn't a deal-breaker for me.

Q: What is the cooking surface of the 8", 10" and 12" pans? Thank you!

The size given for each pan is the diameter of the top. The flat bottom diameter is roughly 7.5 inches for the 10-inch pan and 9 inches for the 12-inch pan.

Q: What is the capacity of each of these fry pans? Does the 12” hold twice as much as the 10”?

Hello! The capacity of the All-Clad D3 Stainless 10 Inch Fry Pan is approximately 2.1 quarts, and the capacity for the All-Clad 12 inch Fry Pan is 3.1 quarts.

Q: This has an f on fakespot. why? is this not really a great all clad set worth the high cost?

I have this set and they are great. Unless you really abuse them, they will last a lifetime so a fairly high cost is okay with me. Just remember that these are not non-stick and try to avoid burning stuff in the pans. If you do, you'll have to work quite a bit to completely clean the pans.
