Fantastic for Home Theater
I recently moved into a new house with a perfect basement for a modest home theater. I decided I've reached the point in my life where I deserve decent surround sound, dammit, so I started researching options. I'm not an audiophile, but I remember my el cheapo very first home theater setup that I bought from Best Buy shortly after college. It was super inexpensive, and it sounded pretty lousy. I didn't think I needed to spend thousands on a top-of-the-line setup (I figured it would be unlikely that I'd hear the difference between it and something more mid-range, and I don't have friends I want to impress with expensive brands), but I didn't want a budget setup, either. This Jamo setup seemed to fit the bill. It had fantastic reviews and the price was incredible - not much more than cheap speakers, really. Some of the reviews I saw suggested that they sounded a little bright, and as much as you can trust a guy who just confessed that he's not an audiophile, I think that's accurate. But I think it's a very mild bias that direction, and in my mind, it's perfect for a home theater setup. Dialogue is crystal clear. I can't believe how much better these sound than soundbar setups. I paired these with the S808 subwoofer, and I couldn't be happier - particularly for the money. Everything is plenty loud for my small room (roughly 12x12), and I think they'd be fine for larger spaces. I kept the magnetic covers off, since the speakers look so good without them, but they're really easy to take on and off if you're worried about keeping the speakers protected. All told, I'm super happy with this buy. Would a fancy Klipsch speaker setup sound better than these? Probably. (Though Jamo is owned by Klipsch, and they seem to share a lot of the same technology.) But for most people, I bet these speakers will get you 95% of the way there, they're far less expensive, and they look fantastic.

Not too shabby.
I have to say for the money this was a real good get. I am upsizing and need a new surround sound for the family room, nothing killer. This fit the bill perfectly. I currently have a onkyo txnr 809 running a 7.2 with pinnacle speakers, the QP 15 for my fronts and the black diamonds as my rears, which rattle the house and sound great at very loud levels. I disconnected the front right and the center and plugged two of these guys in and while it was not 100% up to par, I spent 3x as much on the Pinnacles. These work real well. If anything, the center is a bit too bass-y. It sounded a little too low, but the sound effects and the music playing were fine, with 4k Ready Player One at the race in the beginning. I know of few scenes that will test the overall sound of the surround by blasting out all speakers. At this price point, on sale, there are few speakers that will fit the bill as these do.

Best Bang for Buck Surround Sound
At $200 this setup is outstanding. The larger bookshelf speakers alone are clear and warm and provide such depth to movies and music that I cannot go back to a soundbar or tv speakers again. Paired with the Jamo S810 subwoofer this system is amazing. I have become slightly addicted to listening to music and action movies at theater volumes in awe of its capabilities. With Disney+ having Dolby Atmos movies, you finally stream true surround sound with these speakers. There are the Jamo S8 ATM atmos modules that you can purchase separately for the price of this entire system ich do help enhance the overhead sounds and room filling ambiance but they are not as good as in-ceiling speakers. The size of the center speaker is relatively deep at 9 inches, which should work fine ontop of a TV stand, granted your TV is wall mounted as the height is about 7.5 inches. The simplistic and timeless styling of the black with walnut accents fits perfectly in any room design and should age well. Overall very satisfied with this 5 speaker setup for such an affordable price.

Amazing speaker set for the price
I saw a review by Andrew Robinson, "These speakers don't suck", and decided to buy them for my basement projector theater. They are well packed, well made with pretty heavy cabinets, magnetic grills. I have a KEF speaker system in my main living room and these JAMO speakers don't come up to the same quality for sound, particularly for Stereo music. That said, they do produce a decent sound and are way better than a sound bar. I added a JAMO 10" subwoofer from different mail order company for a full system totaling less than $400. In terms of Movies, both bluray and streamed and Youtube videos they produced a very good experience. I have the two back channels at 6 feet on the side walls and the subwoofer to the side. I have them on stands made of 2 x 4 and a top and bottom of plywood. You really need to keep the speakers off the ground. Picture shows my VAVA UST projector and the front speaker set up. I tested them with the hellicopter sound in the 2nd season of Bosch, I think episode 7. That helicopter truly flies over my head. I have a 5.1 Onkyo receiver fed from the VAVA projector via optical cable. Jazz and folk music are excellent but loud complex music such as classical or heavy rock does challenge them. The phono fittings are excellently designed and the special screws supplied, for wall mounting, work very well in just ordinary drywall for mounting the back speakers. I would recommend these speakers for anyone starting a home theater and they are powerful with a 100W/channel amplifier.

Set these bad boys up in my newly renovated basement and I must say they're pretty impressive. Bought them on a recommendation from the Audio Review Youtube Channel by Andrew Robinson. I paired these speakers with a Denon 7.2 receiver as well as a Klipsch subwoofer and they are outstanding. Very happy with this.
