ZWILLING Sorrento Plus 2-pc Double-Wall Glass Latte Mug Set, 15-oz, 450ml

Love my morning coffee, and love it more now with these glasses. Using daily for several weeks now, no issues. Glass is crystal clear and beautiful. The glass is barely warm to the touch when filled with near boiling water and definitely helps retain heat better compared to a standard mug. Yes, they are very light and seem fragile, but same as you would expect from a nice wine glass. I have not put them in the dishwasher, I simply hand-wash. Takes 2 minutes, so why risk it. Used the microwave several times with no issues. Love the zwilling logo at the bottom of the glass. Nice touch. I'm probably going to purchase the larger latte set next!

These mugs are very nice and durable as well. The borosilicate glass indeed seems of high quality and one of mine have already survived 2 falls I was sure would shatter them - 1 time falling from the counter into the sink, another time outside I knocked the mug off a short table onto the ground, the surface of which was littered with small rocks and pebbles and the mug again survived to my delightful surprise. I've never had a problem pouring scalding hot coffee or boiling water into them, nor any issue pouring in ice cold water. Of course you will not want to alternate between hot and cold and should be mindful of rapid temp changes. Overall, I like the durability, aesthetic, functionality, and feel of the mugs. They help keep hot beverages hot for longer and cold beverages cold for longer and look great doing so. Can definitely recommend.

The left side is my decade old Bodum, right side is the Zwilling. Both nice to me. Bodum went through daily dishwasher, moving and still holds on well. Just normal wear and scratches. I was debating if keep buying it or try Zwilling. Zwilling glass is bit green compared to Bodum, which I don’t prefer. But it’s shape keep the drinks hot for a longer period of time. Both lightweight, comfortable in hand and good looking. I will see how well Zwilling lasts. Overall love it so far.

We bought a set of these cups last year looking for a non-toxic cups. We first bought 4, then 4 more and now another set. The only thing I don't love is that after a year of use they started to get a little cloudy when coming out of the dishwasher. I started washing them by hand. Like they don't get hot to the touch and the shape of the handle. They keep the coffee warm like any other cup, nothing special. Still, we really like them and replaced all our cups with these ones.

Had it for a month or so. Seemed to work well. Not completely insulated, felt the heat in my hand on the other side. Unfortunately I broke it going hot to cold by mistake. My fault really, but would have hoped it wouldnt do this. otherwise it seemed sturdy. I banged it around a few times

I really like these mugs. They do a good job of insulating my lattes so they stay warm. In my normal ceramic mugs, they were cool within 10 minutes. Now I can enjoy my coffee without having to rush. The only caveat is they are susceptible to damage if dropped or hit just right. In fact, they darn near explode, so be careful with them. I have dropped ceramic mugs in the same way, and they have survived just fine.

This product is not worth the price. After two uses, it shattered in the kitchen sink while I was washing another dish. I really loved the glass look but I cannot recommend this given how fragile it is compared to other glass dishes. Do not buy!

Are these mugs pricey? Yes. Do they seem delicate and should they be handled gingerly? Yes. Are they worth it and will they elevate your coffee experience? Most definitely. The mugs are lightweight, easy to hold, beautiful to behold, and will keep your drinks cold or hot longer than a regular ceramic mug. I can’t recommend them enough (or their 12 oz coffee mug versions). A note on the size: You might be tempted (as I was) to just buy the 12 oz glass coffee mugs from this same brand because they are cheaper. I did. And they’re excellent mugs! However, there is a reason they made a latte version … and I actually wound up spending more money because I ended up getting these, too. These 15 oz mugs give you the room you need to add foam/milk without worrying about making “too much” coffee. Yes, I add LOTS foam (see pics) … but I no longer have to skimp on the amount of iced coffee I brew (straight into this cup). So if you love lattes or playing around with coffee, glass mugs, and you want to save some money, just get these right away if you can … because you’re going to end up realizing that the other mugs can’t compare in terms of space. Update: These 15 oz mugs don’t hold the temperature as long as the smaller 12 oz mugs and there is condensation on the outside when I do iced coffee. Customer service was excellent and will replace them. Hopefully the new ones live up to the product description on these points. Update 2: The replacement mugs hold the heat a little longer than the originals. However, there seemed to be even more condensation forming on the replacements when I did iced coffee in them. Since that’s not according to the product description, I give it 4/5 stars. Nevertheless, the mugs are gorgeous and good for large specialty coffee servings. Update 3: I have to go back to 5/5 stars for these mugs. Sure there’s some condensation, but it doesn’t get anything wet really. And as long as you heat the milk a little more, the latte will hold the temperature. I use them way more than the smaller ones.
