I love IUniker!!
The screen looks and works great! I also received the best customer service I've ever gotten through Amazon from IUniker.I was having issues with the screen due to my headers not being 100% soldered to my raspberry pi. In testing and trying things I swapped some of the connections and ended up destroying the driver board. I guess I probably gave a pin 5v that I mistakenly shouldn't have.I reached out to the seller asking if they sell replacement driver boards and expected to be told I damaged the item and that i have to purchase another screen. The representative asked me for a picture of the board and was able to tell me exactly which chip needed replaced although unfortunately it was too small of component for me to solder. I asked if I could purchase just the driver board and the representative sent me an entire new driver board for free. Seriously the best customer service I've ever gotten through a company on Amazon. I will absolutely be purchasing from IUniker again and letting everyone know what a great and helpful company they are! I truly can't say enough great things about them. Top notch Customer Service! Thank you again IUniker!

Hey it actually works
Got this screen for a Raspberry Pi Zero W project and it worked flawlessly. I installed the drivers under Raspberry Pi OS, rebooted and it came right on. Color is good and the touch actually works. I soldered it directly to the 40 pins. Hey for this size and price point, this is a great addition to a Raspberry Pi project (its the perfect size for a Zero W).

It was bitter sweet
The setup was benign. SW load was easy. Had to reverse solder the Pi Zero as it was designed to be solder from the under side, not top side but ok. The total let down was after all that. The screen was a piece of junk...like junk. Enclosed is the image. Everything up, software running fine and all but.. but the screen is splotchy. The screen is usable but that just bites with that glaring splotch on the screen. Can't return it, my Pi is solder onto it. Waste of time and a Pi Zero. Can't buy any Pi's now with supply issues.

Do you really need a teeny, tiny high resolution display for ants?
Does what it says. The paper it came with described how to install the display, nothing very complicated and it just works. The pin header is designed to mount to an upside down pi, however, which is pretty annoying. The installation works fine with RetroPi out of the box and looks fantastic, but there's a few caveats.Although the display is great in most aspects, it suffers from a lack of use cases. As a portable display, it's really too small to take advantage of it's increased resolution without some eye strain. Anything the Pi Zero can emulate would be better off with a cheaper, bigger 480x320 tft as most of the extra resolution is wasted in upscaling. It works on the Pi 2 and 3, but then the screen is physically smaller than the pi and doesn't lend itself to portable use.If it was just a little bigger, 3.2" or so, it would blow every other GPIO controlled LCD out of the water. As is, it's worth about 4 stars to me. Anybody else should ask themself, "Do I really need a teeny, tiny high resolution display for ants?"

Great Item, needs better documentation
works great, especially for the price. Takes a little experience to actually know how to install the drivers, look for them on the companies github, the linked ones are out-dated for the latest versions of PI OS.

Be careful how you attach it to your Pi.
I used a bigendered header on my Pi so I could still access the GPIO pins, and position it in different orientations as needed. It has been working fine for me in both configurations. I was having some problems getting it set up, but after contacting Amy, I figured it out before she responded, even though she responded within a few minutes. I was entering my subdirectories one at a time instead of entering the command as a string. Just follow the direction sheet letter for letter, and everything should be fine. Great product for the price.

Works great, eh colors. (updated)
Works well and looks kind of cool with the small pi zero in the back. My only disappointment is that the colors arent too great. Whole screen has a yellow cast to it that throws colors way off. Other than that it works.(UPDATE)Purchased a second 2.8 screen from the same company and it ended up having the same issue! I did some angry searching and found some help.sudo raspi-gpio set 8 a2sudo raspi-gpio set 7 a2Boom.... and that will fix the color issue, if you you have it. You'll have to put those in a start up command or script as it will reset every time you reboot.3 stars cause of incomplete documentation and this resetting color bug. I shouldn't have had to go through all that searching.

Perfect for TIny-Scale Projects
I got this screen to make a little CHIP-8 machine with an emulator I wrote and this screen is perfect for this. The pros are that it's a high pixel density display, has a high FPS, is touchscreen, and is super portable. The cons I ran into while setting everything up is that I can't switch between HDMI and this screen like I would be able to with the official 7 inch display, instead I have to uninstall the drivers and change /boot/config.txt. Another small problem that I had is that the touchscreen will jitter its input around in some cases, but that didn't bother me much since my use didn't involve a mouse at all.Other than those problems, it's a fantastic and cheap display for any small-scale project. Totally recommend.
