My dog is 13 years old, diabetic and having some bad stomach problems. Quit eating and my wife and I thought his time was near. He was in the “Hospital” for 4 days. The Vet gave him antibiotics for an infection and this food. He loves the taste and licks his bowl every meal. Now he’s acting like a puppy again! Lots of energy, plays a lot, even chases the birds again and hasn’t done that in 5 years. Strong recommendation for this food!!

Nice savings over vet’office.
Veterinarian practices are being bought up by big corporations, & prices for care are soaring. The Science Diet I use for my cat has helped her recover. It has saved quite a bit to buy from Amazon. And delivered to my door.

Very good hydration and nutrition
My cats love this. They come running before I can finish putting it in their bowls. Very soft on their tummy and hydrates.

Works When Nothing Else Does
If sick, my 2 large German Shepherds will eat this when I can't coax them with anything else. Ditto for my medium-size mixed breed pup.

The cat has not complained
Difficult to write a review for cat food, however this prescription diet was ordered for a very finicky pussy cat. His doctor provided a couple sample cans which Puss Puss wolfed down like he had never seen food before. When the exorbitantly priced box of identical food arrived, our wonderful fur-ball refused to touch it. So there you have it. Probably decent cat food, however it was a hard no for our little man.

Great to have on hand for sick puppy or dog
Expensive but well worth the money. There is nothing worse than watching a puppy or your dog feeling ill and not eating. These are wonderful as they would refuse all other food but very rarely they will turn down this. For little puppies at the start I will heat a small amount with hot water. It seems to make the aroma stronger & encourages them to eat.

Damaged Cans
A number of the tins - probably 6 in total - arrived damaged with the tins partially opened + contents spilling out. As I did not know how long the food was exposed + to what, I had to throw those cans out.
