Asics Men's SOLID MODIFIED SINGLET Wrestling Apparel

I am 5'11", 240 Lb. man with a large frame, big boned as they used to say. I started wearing singlets instead of a T shirt and separate shorts about 4 years ago. I was having to travel to a very remote mountain weather facility to study climate change and severe weather events. Space is very limited while in the field, and even more so getting to and from the remote locations. Certain types of materials for clothing work better than others. These things are all one piece, fit very well, the 3XL fits a little bit loose, but I expected that. The 2XL is a comfortable snug fit and is great for support, quick to dry if you get sweaty, or it gets wet, and it is warm when it's cold outside, and cool when it is hot, generally that size I used for working outside or inside and you need to snug and tight to your body. I use the 3XL for mainly just laying about, down time, and to sleep in. It has the same quality as the 2XL, made of the same fabric, it just is not as tight on the body and yes these replace conventional underwear. They pack easy, any wrinkles just disappear when you put them on, and since it is one thing, shirt and shorts together, you are not hunting T shirts, or BVD's, and the washer is not eating one or the other like it does socks. This garment is made of synthetic materials so it is not suitable for some work environments, and you should be mindful of that. I would not put one of these on to work at Corning Glass Works in the glass blowing factory! I would say that firemen, police officers, pilots, steel workers, etc. Folks who work in jobs where there are high levels of heat, chemicals that can compromise plastic or synthetic fabrics, exposure to petroleum products like oil, and gasoline, are all in a day's work. They are awesome for camping trips too, just don't get too close to the campfire, embers do a number on the fabric! But hey, they can't be beat since there is no need to change in order to go for a swim. Just take your jeans off, and dive in! they dry very quickly so by the time you are out of the water 15 minutes you can put your jeans back on and move onto the next adventure! They are also very tough and resilient and stand up to pulling, tugging, and roughhousing! So, for me these just made better sense than the old T shirt and skivvies! Like I said you do need to be mindful of the material, and your environment, and what if any risks these could present in the absence of conventional thinking and mainstream cotton undergarments. Those folks may want to just keep these for weekend wear or for vacations. For me, they just make sense, and don't require a lot of fuss to pack, just roll them up and stuff then in a crevasse in your suitcase. They clean up quickly in cold water and don't require a washing machine, a sink or bathtub will do. While the label says cold water wash, delicate, I have found this to work the best. Semi-Warm, or Warm water, delicate setting, extra cold-water rinse, as in a second rinse, and do not use any fabric softener for either rinse cycle. They can then either dry on a clothesline, shower rod, or on the Ultra Low 60-minute timed cycle in the dryer, where one dryer sheet is mandatory to mitigate the static electricity and avoid static cling. As for laundry detergent I recommend using one that has antibacterial properties but is not too harsh. I have found that if you follow the manufacturers washing instructions and use only cold water, they can get a dingy look around the third wash as the cold water is of no benefit at removing body oils, and the accumulated odder. Woolite for Darks is fine, and the semi-warm, or warm water wash setting does a better job of getting sweat, antiperspirant, deodorant, and body oils out of the garment, as well as greasy food spills.

5’9 1/2, 150lbs, 40/28/34 fit lean, athletic build w/abs. Was looking for extra snug fit to achieve a smooth sleek molded fit and that is exactly what I got. I ordered a royal blue and a sports red in XS. Yes, XS…surprisingly since I’m a medium in most of my not fitness clothing. Since I don’t wrestle it’s perfect for my at home or close workouts. Something different than a boring baggy workout shirt and gym shorts for sure. These singlets really dare I say “snatch” your body and provide perfect support especially where it really matters. I like that this suit has a really slick smooth look to it, it really kind of highlights my flat lean abdominal area which my wife loves. Suit definitely has wifey’s seal of approval. But at the end of the day it’s just a really versatile super high quality singlet that can be worn during any type of workout or fitness activity your tasking part in. I do weights, squats, abs, yoga, run, you name it. I swim as well but have no plans of using this suit for swimming. I’ll stick with my swim trunks for pool. Might reveal wayyy too much if someone tried to wear this suit wet. Just sayin’. It also isn’t super heavy and should not make you sweat from wearing the suit. Your sweat will be from your workout or your opponent if your a wrestler, but not from the suit, it’s very breathable which is another thing like a lot. Stitching is very high quality. This singlet seems very durable as well since it’s made for wrestling. Sometimes you have think outta the box and try something different which is exactly what I did when purchasing these two suits. Most running suits are either wayyyy over the top expensive or made of junky material, so trying a product made for a different sport than what your doing to obtain really high quality at a reasonable price was a no-brainer. Plus its fun to catch my wifey peeking in on my workouts on a day I wear this suit. Lol she’s working out a lot more which is always a good thing. To my delight this item really blew my expectations away. In other words i recommend it. To make a long story longer. Lol cheers

I'm 6"00" 175 and always buy Large Singlets, so, according to the sizing recommendation chart I bought this singlet in a Large. It fit fine in the waist and legs but I couldn't get the shoulder straps up without feeling like it was going to rip and I heard a click LOL, Also, the crotch area is too tight,. If I was a bit shorter it would probably work.... but I'm not, and I'm glad for that. I'm returning it and buying an XL. UPDATE: I received the XL and runs small too. A).- I ordered with WrestlingMart LLC and the page redirected me to other seller named SportsRcool Wrestling. B).- The sizing chart is not accurate. I usually wear Large on Singlets and I ordered XL and is still Small. C).- Now I ordered the XXL and it fits just perfect. Thanks

Great product. Not our first and won’t be our last. Fits the way it’s supposed to and looks great.

This is my first Singlet, so I am not sure what I was expecting. The Singlet, itself, is fairly sturdy, and the stitching looks like it could hold up under standard usage. This purchase was on a recommendation, as something to wear for comfort and support. Now, I'm a fat guy, so I got the 3x, and i expected it to be tight in some areas, but this was super tight all over. Almost to the point of being constricting. It was not comfortable for my fat body (no surprise here). Probably not the fault of the Singlet, but there it is. Maybe if I wear it more, I will come to like it more, but at the moment, I am not finding the comfort that all the recommendations were talking about.

I'm 170 lbs. got a large and it's a tight fit. Still, I like it and will keep it.

Purchased a singlet for our son, and it ripped after just one duel. Returned it, and ordered the same one again… and almost entirely fell apart after another duel. Will not give a 3rd chance.

The price was excellent value and the quality was fantastic. I purchased a large size but maybe should of purchased a size bigger as the sizing is smaller than expected. I usually take a size 32 inch. I weigh 167 pounds and am just under 6 foot tall. But overall I am very happy with the singlet especially the price compared to other brands that are just as good but cost a lot more.

Look great, dry, sweaty or soaking wet, use singlet as underwear for cycling pants + shirt, the feeling is awesome, wear-it for at least 10 times, use-it for a long-distance walk as underwear too, no burning or scraping in between the legs, it was not designed for this use, but it's very comfy, love to wear it when it's 90 degrees, the freedom of movement is exceptional, for the price, this singlet 100% perfect end I recommend it.

I had to look up the size chart and think about what size I needed to get. I’m 5’9 and just under 135 So I got a medium. And it fits very good. Quality is very good. Shipping was fast, I will buy another if needed.

Wow, very small could not get them over the knees...lol solid material, vibrant colour, made solid, I'm very small built, no way I was getting this on, and iv plenty in the same size, maybe a one off.
