Life Extension PQQ (Pyrroloquinoline Quinone) 10 mg, 30 Vegetarian Capsules (Pack of 2)

As always, Life Extension has quality products, and best of all they are trustworthy. That being said, their products are always on the upper end the price scale. However, I did find this product to be all that it was advertised to be. Within about 4 weeks I really started to notice an improvement in my short-term memory, and I believe, a general overall "evened-out" mental outlook. I take a prescription medication that has a small, although noticeable, adverse effect on my short-term memory, so I really did notice when this supplement started to help.

I did expect to see a system response to this supplement as the recommended dose is 20 mg/as per studies. That said, I could not start up full strength due to a very sensitive and low weight body. Added this to my supplements. One of those supplements was Ubiquinol at 50 mg, which is recommended for maximum benefit, when taking PQQ. My body initially to have no "obvious/outward" response. However, On day 10, a boost of mental clarity and some energy presented. Impressive at this lower dose. As of today, day 11, I upped my ubinquinol to 150. I am nearing 60 and challenges are presenting, though all is in working order/nothing diagnosed/blood workup all in order. Age and challenges, indicate that the 50 mg of Ubinquinol is insufficient. I will also increase this dose of PQQ to the full 20 mg, for the full benefit. I honestly did not expect to see any response at this dose, so I am very impressed. When I make those changes and see a response I shall update this review further. Very pleasantly surprised as there aren't negative side effects, when many sups have been shelved due to such negatives.

Too early to tell if it’s working, but this lower dose is not causing stomach upset. Elderly mother is tolerating it well. Good buy.
