I was pretty skeptical about this. The previous books in this series of graphic novels have disappointed me by leaving out important pieces of the story. This one did a pretty good job sticking to the plot and wrapping up the first Percy Jackson series as a graphic novel. Of course, some things were left out, but nothing that left me feeling like a crucial piece was missing. Overall very happy with it.

The graphic novel is amazing and the character depictions are perfect. It helps one visualize the fight much better, if you are not from New York and might not understand the logistics of the fight. It’s a much shortened version so I always recommend the normal book, but it is a nice addition to your collection!

I read the normal novel and then the graphic version. The illustrations were great and the small twists in the plot were somewhat necessary to keep the book nice and short.
