"You get what you pay for"?
First I will say that the chair is easy to assemble, is very comfortable when new, has nice fabric (soft, easy to spot clean), and the electric mechanism works really well. Some have said the brown color is ugly, but the color was perfect within the room I placed it in, and a perfect match to my click-clack couch in the same room.My chair was used every day, so I guess this is a factor in how it held up....Only 6 weeks old, and the footrest cushion has lost it's resilience and now feels hard when raised and in use. The arms are very flimsy, because the framing under the padding is a press board, and cannot stand up to leaning on it. So, if you use the arm to help you get up, it will crack and break. We are not big people. My husband used this chair to sleep in after shoulder surgery. He only weighs 160lbs., but used one arm to help him get up (not forcefully) and it broke in half. So now one of the arms is crooked. I think this vulnerability could be avoided, if they only used plywood instead of press board. After 2 months, the chair still looks pretty new (except for the arm)...has not gotten baggy, and the mechanism still works great. The now-hard footrest annoys me when it is raised, and I hope to get into the padding from underneath to replace or supplement the cushioning. If I can also replace the "wood" in the arm framing (or repair and reinforce), I will. If I do, then the chair should be satisfactory. If you don't use the chair a lot and you avoid leaning on the arms to get up; this would be a very good chair for you.If you are handy, and don't mind modifying the chair via the open underside (in order to take advantage of it's cheap price), it can also work well for you.It is about 6 weeks in daily use now. Don't know how long the good features will last (electric motor, seat and back cushions, fabric resilience, etc.) but that's where the chair rates for now.

very good product for the price
Very good chair for the money as far as putting it together all you have to do is slide the back on and plug in the box. The only thing I wish is that it was a little larger I'm a 200 lb man but no complaints seams well made i would think it would take a lot of pressure to break the arms and I have not yet had to spot clean it as per the review i read before I bought this product so as of now I give it 4 stars i really don't think you can get a better chair for the price

Fair Value
Easy to assemble if you first recline it fully. The back snaps in with a gentle push. Mine had retaining clips that were 90 degrees out of phase on the cord to chair electrical connection so I wrapped it with Gorilla Tape which works wonders for all purposes. It fits me perfectly and is comfortable. I am 5'8" with short legs.Do not wear shoes, belts, braces or riveted pants while seated in it, nor allow the dog on it, for fear of shredding the thin cover.Considering its price, it is a fair value.

Perfect for Our Elderly Grandfather
My grandpa couldn't work the manual lever on his recliner anymore. Because of that, he didn't spend as much time in the living room as he and the family would have liked. The family decided to pitch in and buy him this recliner for Christmas. It's one of the best things we've ever bought him. I know other reviewers complained about the recliner being too small. We weren't worried about that because my grandfather isn't very tall or big. Actually, for his size it's perfect. If it were too big he might have trouble getting out of it. The quality seems nice enough to last and the push button recline works seamlessly. It doesn't look cheap, the color is attractive, and it's super soft and comfortable to sit in. He loves it and my grandmother loves that he can comfortably sit with the family again!

The material that it's covered with nicks very easily. Would recommend keeping it covered with something especially ...
It's not a very big chair to begin with and not heavy at all. The material that it's covered with nicks very easily. Would recommend keeping it covered with something especially if you have kids or grand kids. I don't know that I would buy again. I assume as always you get what you pay for.

This chair looks nice and it is comfortable
This chair looks nice and it is comfortable. I wanted a smaller one than my old recliner. However, it is not as sturdy. Little pieces of form are already falling from beneath it and I know now that I will have to replace it sooner than I had hoped to.

Great chair for anyone under 6 ft tall
It is a very pretty recliner we got it for my dad bday h& he 5ft. 9 & it fits well he also has had 3back surgery has rods & screws was the reason for electric one the only problem he has is trying to find the button on side & which way to go. He doesn't have much feeling in fingers

comfortable, easy to use
The chair is exactly what I had hoped it would be.... comfortable, easy to use, looks great. The 'however' is that it already has two places where the 'leather' (not real) has chipped off. So it is critical to get the extra warranty for fabric and wear.
