Great strong SAK
This SAK has slightly thicker tools on it, making it a good workhorse. The stronger blades and slimmer scales make it a great EDC, with the downside being no tweezers or toothpick. However this is now my daily carry as it’s reliable and solid.

The step up knife
My first alox knife, it's a step up in quality and tool size. Way better than I expected. Thin and strong. Very happy.

The Go-To EDC knife
This is the commercial version of the knife that the Swiss Army used from 1961 to 2008. It is the most practical penknife out there for the money. It doesn't have the functionality of a multi tool but it’s good enough for soldiers in the field. It’s my go to for all sorts of tasks. It’s discreet, well made and durable. The blade holds an edge and the tools are perfect. Anyone who carries a knife for everyday tasks should get one of these.

A classic.
A classic SAK that makes an excellent slim pocket carry as part of your EDC. Has the normal fantastic quality of all Victorinox knives.

Bigger . . .
A bit larger than the usual swiss army knife and feels more solid.

Amazing pocket knife made by a Swiss genius
Great allround pocket tool, very sharp almost razor sharp UK carry legal NON-locking blade about 2.5 inches. The back springs are strong so this knife is a very good alternative to a locking blade, will never close on your fingers if used responsibly. Top Swiss quality and a great price, very durable, sturdy tool also thanks to the Alox (aluminum oxide) handles, surprisingly light and compact. The tip of the can opener works great as a phillips screwdriver and there is an engraving space on the other side of the knife. Same design was used by Swiss Armed forces between 1961-2008, this is the civilian version of the Soldiers knife, only differences are that the Soldiers knife didn't have the keyring, engraving space and had a different logo plus it also had a year of manufacture stamp on the other side of the blade. As it was designed for the army it means its one of the most durable knives on the market from 1961 and this knife will last you for generations. It has a lot better grip than the standard glossy cellidor plastic scales that are on 91mm range Victorinoxes, but doesn't have either toothpick nor tweezers. The "B1" on the end of the product code means that this comes in a blister packaging, mainly made for US market, so don't get scared, this is NOT a fake. Absolutely worth the price as this is made to last ages and also has a lifetime warranty.

Was even heel goedkoop dus meteen geprofiteerd.

Compared to the red or plastic handled Victorinox SAKs: This feels like a much better finished product. The action is tighter, the blades are a bit thicker and the knife feels well put together. It feels a little heavier for the first couple of days but after that you'll forget it's there in your pocket. The quality makes the other SAKs feel inferior even though they are great products on their own. This little chap makes the great Victorinox Outrider I have feel cheap. The blade is a wee bit longer than most plastic/Cellidor scaled SAKs. However the alox scales are thinner and this two layer knife feels compact in spite of being longer. None of the alox models have tweezers or toothpicks so you'll miss those on this one too. Well one has to adjust no? The awl is great. Unlike other SAKs the awl on this one allows you to use a lot more force as it lies along the long axis of your grip. In addition it's thicker, has a spine and the point seems sharper. Really the awl on this one is reason enough to buy this and the alox is the icing on the cake. The alox scales look great. Very understated but elegant. Th black alox knives are even better. The grip on the alox scales is very good even in sweaty hands due to the embossed pattern. There is a small flat area to engrave your name or such stuff but I've never seen anybody do that. Anyway that patch is pretty small. The key ring/ lanyard ring digs into the palm if you tend to hold the knife tight all the time but paradoxically not when you use force when cutting so it's kind of ok.
