You get what you pay for, if it's Apple product, purchase Apple Attachment.
After trying solar panel and had to have constant sunshine to work properly, changing batteries big pain getting ladder out and ordering an aftermarket cable cord. I ordered the cord by Apple brand for Arlo Pro 4. And it works perfectly 100% battery charge !!!!

Aftermarket cables never worked (Insufficient power to keep the batteries charged). These work perfectly.

Bite the bullet and buy this one…
Worth the extra cost… all the cheaper ones I’ve tried don’t last more than a few months. Just bite the bullet and get this one. It’ll lower your blood pressure…

What you need, 3rd party has wrong specs
Yes this is expensive, but I ended up purchasing 3 total of these because they work. I first tried 3rd party options and they are questionable. The reason i say this is because 3rd party versions provide 5v via USB-A. I get spotty charging on 3rd party. These Arlo outdoor are 9v wired directly to the plug, which is needed for proper charging and uninterupted power. Constant motion, recording, and spotlight (or floodlight for that model) can cause charging issues with 5v. This is how the spotlight knows if your using a non official plug and goes i to charge only mode. When it gets the 9v it increases brightness on the spotlight and allows you to use charge whileoperating. Do your self a favor and get a reliable factory cable. At least until a 3rd party manufacturer can at least match the proper 9v power requirements for the unit they use. (They use 5v because it's cheap to get 5v plug-ins and use a usb cable with proprietary connectors.) Hopefully this will help someone know why not to go 3rd party based on user experiences alone.

Best Idea Ever!!!
I am so grateful to Arlo for creating this ALWAYS CHARGING DEVICE. I don't have to worry about climbing up a ladder to charge my camera after a few months.... or a few weeks when the weather is very cold. This magnetic device keeps it charge all the time... stays on 100%. Best invention ever! You will not be sorry! And I'm glad it was the right length...25 feet.... which may it a very easy install.

He estado usando este cable de carga para mi cámara Arlo Ultra 2 durante varias semanas y estoy muy satisfecha. A diferencia de otros cables genéricos que probé antes, este encaja perfectamente en el puerto de la cámara sin quedar suelto o desconectarse accidentalmente. Made the mistake of buying a cheaper charger only to find it inferior! I’m so glad I reordered the Arlo - works like it should & they stand behind their products.

Nothing But Problems
I purchased the Arlo 3 Floodlight Camera. I also purchased the ridiculously priced outdoor magnetic charging cable. Everything worked fine for a while, then one day it just stopped charging. I didn’t touch the camera, it just went out. I like everyone else had to pull out the latter, climb up, take the camera down to see what was happening. Everything seemed fine. I tried cleanly the contacts. Didn’t work. I tried removing and reinserting battery pack. Nope. I tried different wall outlets. Nope. I tried removing the Camera from the app and reinstalling. Nothing. I tried deleting and downloading a the app over for a fresh install. Nothing. I tried resetting and re-syncing the camera. Nothing. Support was COMPLETELY useless. They ran me through everything I told them I just did. SUPER frustrating. Finally after about the 20th time of removing the camera from the housing I got the camera to take a charge from the cable. Then, with an active subscription, and set to record video upon motion, the camera stopped recording. In the app when I hit library for when there were recordings, the little dot indicating recorded video for that day would disappear along with all the recordings. After literally hours with customer service (that’s a joketo even call it that their service is HORRIBLE) a fresh install the camera started recording again and operating as it should, BUT then the charging went back out. Again out came the latter up and down up and down, online with “service “ and they had me (again) do everything I told them I just did, and it still won’t take a charge. The first service rep said they were sending a replacement cable that never arrived. Then this second time on with them they confirmed that they then were to ship one. I asked for replacement of the whole unit and I would send the defective one back. Nope they will only first send a replacement cable. They are horrible! I have waisted countless hours trying to get this camera to just do what it is supposed to do. I’m lucky I haven’t fallen off the damn latter I’ve been up it so many times with this stupid unit. This charging problem turns out is a well documented problem and they haven’t fixed it. They are sub standard and terrible. One service rep on the phone asked me for my password! I hate this company!

Works perfectly with the pro three floodlight, allowing for charging and live viewing at the same time which are normal charge cable will not allow. Excellent quality.

Did not send items as described. Sent standard usb charger that is not compatible with my Arlo device. Item not as pictured.

Wasn’t sure if it fit my Arlo go2 because it mentioned others but not mine so I was concerned it might not work. But it did work perfectly and charges quickly outdoors without having to bring camera in. More expensive than some aftermarket ones but more confident in being the right one.
