Needed a pair of skates and these were perfect! Great fit and very sturdy.

I am a so-so skater had not been on a pair of skates for about 7 years. We were visiting my son's family who live in a new home on a lake in Minnesota. They had cleared off some ice so I had to give it a go. First, the skate size match my shoe size quite well and yes, you do need to have them sharpened before using. I went just about a half size larger and was able to double up on socks comfortably. I skated two times, first time for about an hour, second time for about two hours. While the shoes are a little stiff to start with, I had no problem using them on either occasion and my feet felt fine afterwards. I cannot speak to their durability but have no hesitation recommending them for the casual skater. Good value for the price.

These are decent skates for the price, but not as comfortable as I expected. I will use them but wonder if other options may provide more comfort.

I LEARNED SKATING AND PLAYING HOCKEY ON LEATHER SKATES DECADES AGO, SO WHEN I GOT BACK INTO IT AFTER MANY YEARS I PURCHASED THE MODERN CCM AND BAUER SKATES AND FELT LIKE THEY DON'T ABSORB ICE IMPERFECTIONS AND THE PLASTIC DESIGN FELT WAY TOO RIGID AND SKATING ESPECIALLY BACKWARDS WAS VERY UNSTEADY, SO I KEPT SEARCHING AND FOUND THESE 5TH ELEMENTS MADE OF LEATHER, FABRIC AND PLASTIC. THEIR DELIVERY WAS VERY FAST, THEY CAME IN A BEAUTIFUL BOX, LOOKING FANTASTIC, ONE SKATE WEIGHS 1074 GRAMS WHICH IS HEAVIER THAN THE MODERN SKATES, SO I WONDERED IF I WILL BE SLOWER. I PUT THEM ON TODAY FOR A TOUGH HOCKEY PRACTICE SESSION AND THE SECOND I STEPPED ON THE ICE THEY FELT AMAZING, ABSORBING ICE IMPERFECTIONS, SO COMFORTABLE, SO STABLE, WARM, ACTUALLY LIGHT AND FAST IN EVERY DIRECTION. I WILL BE PURCHASING ANOTHER PAIR. SIZE IS TRUE TO THE REGULAR SHOE SIZE. YOU GET YOUR MONEY REALLY WORTH.

Size fit as expected. Bought themTo skate with the kids as they go to the rink weekly. They are not the most comfortable but maybe that is normal. I am no expert skater so not sure what to expect. I think they are good for the money.

I am a casual skater. I go with my kids once or twice a week and enjoy it but have no aspirations of playing hockey. I do however, prefer hockey skates to figure skates, just my preference. These skates arrived at around 4pm and were on the ice by 5:30. No need to sharpen, completely ready to use right from the box. Skated for a couple hours and had zero complaints. Are they great skates? For someone like me, yes. For a serious hockey player, probably not. For someone who thinks rental skates are total pieces of *#@$, absolutely! Save some money and try these if they fit the demands you will place on them.

Runs true to size for the most part. I normally wear 10-1/2 got this in a 10 and fit well. Even during the break in period it was rather comfortable. Recommend these skates price and quality seem great.

THERE SEEMS TO BE SOME GOOD PADDING IN THESE SKATES. I PURCHASED THESE FOR MY HUSBAND FOR CHRISTMAS. I HOPE HE WILL LIKE THEM. THEY LOOK LIKE THE PICTURE. AND I AM PRETTY SURE HE WILL FIT THEM WITH THE SIZE THAT WAS RECOMMENDED.
