This is a beautiful Bible that makes a very good family gift. The pictures add to the beautiful pages and it is a gift that I am very proud to give to my children to pass down through the generations!

This Bible is absolutely stunning in every way. It comes plastic-wrapped, the cover looks and feels beautiful, the paper is the highest quality, there's a marriage certificate inside as well as several pages for recording family information, and the artwork is both stunningly beautiful and plentiful. There are four or five major sections of the Bible that have a beautiful and inspiring personal story written by Thomas Kinkaide that points to truth, goodness, and beauty--that points to God Himself. I wish this gorgeous Bible were available in other versions, like the ESV, NASB, or even NIV, but I'm not going to rate it down for being what I ordered. My fiance and I both love it, and we had a great time looking at the artwork and sharing stories of our own. One of the things we talked about was that we both wished Thomas Kinkaide himself had finished his race on this Earth stronger; toward the end of his life, he behaved more like an addict, rather than acting like the representative of Christ that he longed to be. But even that draws me and my fiance to this Bible. It's a reminder that we are sinners in need of a Savior, longing to represent Christ well, and sometimes displaying the image of God with beauty and excellence, but frequently falling short, and always dependent on Christ. I highly recommend this Bible for all these reasons.

I’m very pleased with the purchase and translation. The print is large enough for anyone to read and the Bible can actually be handled without early ripping pages. The picture pages are beautiful I just wished there were pictures and maps like the old bibles my grandparents had. This is wonderful to gift for anyone starting a family who has a bible believing background. I ordered it 50% off so if you see the sale get it because it’s worth it. Please be careful with the NIV/ESV they omit verses i.e. Matthew 17:21 is a good one to check before purchasing another translation. I hope this helps.
