Solidly Built and Works Well
Great little percolator. Very solidly built. With those circular paper filters, it leaves very few grounds in the pot. As stated, no aluminum (stop calling it "aluminium", you crazy Brits!) and no plastic. This works really well over a gas stove, takes longer on top of a wood stove due to the recessed area on the bottom.

Good Hot Coffee and Satisfying and Fun Brewing!
Morning coffee is what gets me up in the morning normally at 4:30 to 5:00am. My 10 cup drip coffee maker has coffee already brewed when I get up and for years has been my go-to system. I sometimes vary my brewing method using a French press and a Nespresso machine just for variety and different taste results. The Nespresso makes fantastic coffee but one cup at a time just doesn’t serve my needs. The Coletti Camping percolator (24 cup) has been a really satisfying and fun shift in my morning routine when I want a bit more coffee. The smell and sound of percolating coffee takes me back to my childhood when my parents used one every day. I’m still tuning in my coffee amount and percolating time to get the best results for 15 cups but I’m very satisfied with the hot coffee that tastes great! I’ll still vary my brewing methods to keep things fun but the Coletti will get plenty of use is my kitchen!

Nice Quality --- best part is ZERO plastic or aluminum!
I really love this Coletti Butte Coffee Percolator that has ZERO plastic or aluminum!!! The only thing that I would change is that I wish it were 316 stainless steel because the lower grade of stainless really gives a metal taste to the brewed coffee. I would happily pay $10 more if it were the 316 stainless steel. One thing I want to mention is that it's SUPER important to NOT screw the glass lid-knob in tightly -- it needs to be LOOSELY screwed in, to allow steam to escape. Otherwise the glass knob will crack. The product instructions make this VERY CLEAR but I know how some people refuse to read instructions. LOL. Nice product, quality construction. I recommend it.

Learning curve
Its as good as you can really get with currently made camp coffee makers. Pros- its well made, holds an acceptable amount(not alot though), works, easy to clean and I just really like it. Cons- widely available coffee does poorly even with included "filters", course ground coffee is needed and not always easy to find at local small stores when camping, lid can open during poor, there is a leaning curve to get it to percolate right(this will be true of any campfire or stovetop percolators)

Great coffee pot!
I love this coffee pot. It brews a smooth cup of coffee and NO PLASTIC or ALUMINUM. I have tried numerous coffee pots that brewed ok coffee and lasted no longer than a year. This one has a lifetime guarantee and makes great coffee. The house smells fantastic while percolating! I’m a “happy camper”. (Please make one that works on an induction stove.)

Exceptional
Excellent Quality and function. We own two now, one of each size. One for home and the other is for camping and the hunting cabin.

Great for camping!
Bought this for a camping trip and the coffee was excellent! We love this and are very pleased with the purchase. We had about 15 people camping with us and it made plenty of coffee for all of us.

First: it is NOT a true 12-15 cup pot. Apparently their cup measurement is not even a true cup. So this is really an 8 cup pot. Second: doesn't perk well. The stem inside the pot has a little break in the rim at the bottom to allow the water to get sucked up. If this little slit isn't positioned just right it wont perk. It takes a long time to get hot enough to perk and once it is hot you have to babysit it otherwise it perks too quickly and there's grounds in your coffee. And you have to constantly put it on hot then slowly temper it down and then up again because now it's not perking. I have an old school enamel one and I've never had any of these problems but wanted a bigger pot. See problem number one. Third: I've used this for 6 weeks and the glass knob at the top just shattered. It's never been dropped or hit. A 6 week old item should not be breaking. All in all, not worth the money. Go to your local camping surplus store and buy a cheap enamel one.

Glass knob won't stay in the lid. It's far from a 14 cup perk The holes in the coffee basket are too big for even the most coarse ground coffee The fixed lid makes it terribly hard to clean These faults far outweigh the shiny finish, and make this coffee not worth the money. My 30 year old, 8 cup, enamel perk is far better, and makes the same amount of coffee.

Went to a cabin a while back and they had a perculator similar to this. It turned my regular old grounds I brought into a masterpeice in my cup. So here we are. I dont write reviews u less its really bad or the opposite. This will make you one of your best coffee cups. Even though I'm giving it some cons to be transparent for another buyer, I think they are minor for myself and that the pros are just too good to give it anything less then 5 stars. Buy it. The pros: Lots of coffee. Lots and lots for 2 or a big cup for 6 . Very easy to brew Best coffee I've had in a long long time Durable, no parts to break or wear out. Portable, can store coffee bag in unit. Very easy to get squeaky clean.( part of the cons aswell) No need to buy extra filters (included) works fine without The cons: Longer but doable brew time.At our elevation(higher)with room tem water 24 to 28 minutes that's including 4 min of purculation. Bit of Grounds at bottom of cup at the last pour. Have to clean after each use(about 30 seconds to a min) No fill line.(it's the bottom hole on the spout) All that it's well made and just get it and never have to buy a coffee maker that breaks after 5/10 years. Really good full bodied coffee with no more bitter dish water.

Good perculator but be careful as handle gets really hot and the glass round top comes loose easily
