Easy to read love the colorful pictures. And history of my heritage.

Lovely photos for illustration. I like that the author is a mother who grew up in Sweden.

This was for my 8-year-old granddaughter’s birthday. She wants to learn languages in her DNA, one of which is Swedish. The photographs are beautiful, and next to each is the word for them, in English and Swedish. She likes the book, and recognized some of the photos (Dala horse, e.g.). Unfortunately, no help in how to pronounce the words. I can help her a little, but she will mostly have to google the information.

What a delightful start to teach children of their heritage! I highly recommend.

Nice book but thinner format than I expected. Was expecting harder cover and more extensive content.

Excellent book for kids who are interested in learning about Sweden or Swedish culture. I bought this for my half Swedish toddler and she loves it. It's educational and it brilliantly teaches her the concepts and vocabulary in both English and Swedish. Highly recommended!

Vikingar hade INTE horn på hjälmen

sweet little book, with two issues: vikings did not put horns on their helmets (too easy for enemies to yank them off; the horns were/are on ceremonial helmets from the bronze age), and there are no brown/black people in this book at all...there are many in real life in sweden, and any brown/black child reading this book would like to see her/his visage mirrored in some of these photos...any swedish/african/asian child would notice the lack of familiar faces...add a few in the next edition, please...
