Beast of a knife
Excellent knife. Holds an edge well. The slope of the belly is not quite what you get from a traditional kukri, but it cuts well. The black part of the handle is plastic but feels good. The shape of the handle allows a secure grip even when your hands are wet and slippery. The steel does stain easily, so overall I would recommend this more for a practical (maybe camping) knife and not a show piece. Although it is not bad looking either.

Sadly this is junk worth about 10% of the price.
Long ago I heard that Paul Chen blades were junk.I was told this after buying a Paul Chen blade. The blade was made by Paul himself and is spectacular. As this is my first experience with a Paul Chen blade that he didn't make himself I must say there is a huge difference between the blades he makes himself and things like this. As you can see in the pic there is a pit where the base should be milled flat and shiny. That is quality I expect out of a 5-10$ flea market Pakistan or India made knife not a 150$ blade. The blade was axe sharp. For this type of "born to chop" knife that is fine. However it doesn't look nearly as nice as the blades in the pictures. The plastic felt like very slippery polypropylene. I would have gone a different direction with the plastic. All in all I was extremely disappointed and returned the knife.

Awesome blade.
Just got in mail, and immediately went outside and hit a 10 inch thick red oak log side ways against the grain with fury a dozen times. Edge did not roll and still razor sharp. The handle looks like cheap plastic, but it is actually a rubbery material, good grip. The handle size is small but fits me like a glove. I wear medium rubber gloves in the Auto shop at work.
