LEGO City Great Vehicles Garbage Truck 60220 Building Kit (90 Pieces)

My 3 year old is getting into Legos and this set was a perfect addition to his growing collection. He's still too little to follow the directions and put it together without help, but he enjoyed it and was having fun identifying the truck, the dumpster, the trash can, and the various pieces of "garbage" included in the set. The set is not as intricate as the standard sets, but keep in mind that it's part of their "juniors" line intended to be a transition from Duplo to Lego. The cab of the truck does not have a roof or back, but that's so the intended age bracket can get their minifigures in and out easily. One thing for parents: keep in mind that you're giving little kids small pieces, so monitor them when they play so they don't lose the pieces, swallow them, or inhale them. One last note, as a long time Lego fan myself, I am thrilled that the newer sets are including male and female minifigures in various roles.

Lego - You cant go wrong! The difference with this set is that it contains fewer paces due to the chassis of the Lego being all one piece. Overall good piece and as usual with all Lego will provide hours of enjoyment for years to come.

I got this for my grandson when he was four and he is now almost 6 and still loves it. It is so cleverly designed with the dumpster hooking on to the back of the truck. My grandson loves filling the dumpster and then flipping it to dump the "garbage" into the truck. Very cute details with the broom and shovel provide for creative play.

Hot off the tails of a LEGO Millennium Falcon, picking up this kit as a cheaper extra setpiece felt like a natural fit. Who doesn't want to load stormtroopers into a dumpster and pour that dumpster into a garbage truck? But the instructions, how insultingly simple! An entire page dedicated to one block! I am a man of class! I have assembled twelve modules to be chained together from instructions strewn about three pages with a simple "repeat this smaller module 7 times" direction at the end. Perhaps a toddler would be captivated by the simplistic, baby-like instructions. But would a small child appreciate the philosophical victories of casting off the shackles of white-armored oppressors into a lovely tilting bucket on wheels? Also yes, it's hilarious.

My son wanted this for his 8th birthday. It says on the box 4+, and I think that's an accurate assessment. He got it out together in about 10 minutes. Good for little kids, but too easy for the older ones.

I got this as my 4 year old's first Lego set. He needed help from an adult but was able to build this with guidance and it's a fun toy to play with when put together since you can put trash in the dumptuck, dumpster, and little trash can. He really loves it and I think it's very nice for the price.

This is great for your little one learning to put things together with directions. We need more sets now. The seller got this here before Christmas and what else can I say but its AWESOME!! Ideal for a kid’s first set. The instructions were easy to follow for my 4 year old (he still needed some help). Even though he loves to deconstruct, he can mostly reconstruct it (he takes creative licences while rebuilding) on his own.

Das Fahrzeug ist für Vierjährige gut geeignet. Der Zusammenbau ist mit der beiliegenden Anleitung gut zu bewerkstelligen. Er überfordert Kinder nicht was die zeitlichen Ansprüche betrifft und bietet nach der Montage auch einen schönen Spielwert.
