Empowerment Cards for Kids – 45 Action Packed and Fun Exercises

I took a chance on these to provide a fun exercise in confidence, self awareness and relaxation for our 5 year old boy. The graphics, while seemingly steered towards girls, were fun and exciting for him and helped draw him in and engage him right off the bat. There are some good ideas for children to find their center and calm while also building confidence and self esteem. I've started using these atleast once a day, at his request, and front loading them on those sluggish or blue days. I'm not sure how effective they will be in the long run but they provide a positive and self affirming way to start our days.

I am using these cards as a fun way to discuss emotions and positive thoughts with my kids. We played right after receiving them! The kids loved them. They have repeating themes, but each card in unique. Our favorites were the cards that encouraged movement while saying a positive affirmation such as “I’m brave!” A budget friendly choice with a lot of application!

As a therapist, I use these regularly with my clients. I usually use them as an end of session activity, which my clients enjoy. They can certainly be used as a session opener and many of the card statements and directives can be further explored throughout a session. I would highly recommend!

Some of the affirmations are great, and some are head scratching, But overall i am pleased, because their are some great ideas in the cards that my daughter enjoys hearing and doing.

Practical and healthy confidence building ways to communicate with your little ones

I'm an adult and I love these cards. They aren't as weighty and serious as some of the cards for adults. I don't have a lot of attention span right now, and the playfulness of these cards appeals to me.

Errors on cards. ☹️

The kids (3 and 6 year old girls) love playing with these cards, as do the adults. The games can be as long or short as you like, I'm sure it helps with the children's confidence, and their creativity- they've started making up their own card ideas/actions, possibly inspired by one of the cards being unreadable (in Finnish), so that mistake really just lead to more fun!

Bought this for my girl and she loves them. She pulls a card every morning and practices her reading with the card of the day. The concept is great for getting kids to think and move and the cards are beautiful. Stock is nice, colours are vibrant, the cat is cute.

I bought them to help my 7-year old daughter to recognise her emotions and assist with relaxation. We have had great fun going over each of them. I think it is useful tool for young children to equip them to manage their emotions with insight. Very good product.
