Loaned my planer to a friend and his "crew" plowed over a nail or two. Bought these as replacements to get the tool working again. Came when expected, fit great, works great... The hardest part about this item is installing it, a little tricky while the tool is still assembled but it is possible.

I bought a deWalt hand planer off Craigslist for a very low price, but the blades were knicked. At first that was ok because I was just using it to flatten the ends of turning blanks so I could mount them in the lathe. I saw these on sale on Amazon and said why not replace them? I had always intended to sharpen the old pair (I have a grinder that can do planer blades) but for the price it was worth getting a second pair. They arrived new, in the package, unmolested. If you have Amazon Prime you don't even pay shipping (or tax). Overall, a good find.

Fit perfectly, restored my planer to super-smooth planing.Pro tip: pull every nail from the floor before you plane down the high spot in the subfloor plywood... those blades chip easily when you hit metal. Ooops.
