Fixed my problem!
I have a 2016 Jeep Patriot 4WD (their version of AWD), 2.4L engine. I had about 55000 miles on it and it started to miss intermittently. I changed the plugs, and coils, which seemed to help for a short while. It started missing again, so I replaced the throttle body with this one. I was impressed by the quality of this TB; the machining looked good, it was very clean with no marks on it, and it had a lot of good reviews from buyers. The price was good also, and it comes with the O ring gasket. Anyway, this TB solved my problem! I have about 3000 miles on it, and my engine is still running great! No missing! It's fairly easy to replace...I did remove the battery for better access, and it's kind of hard to see the TB from the top. If you removed the shield on the bottom it would probably be easy to see, but I did it from the top. I'm still amazed that I had to replace mine at 55000 miles. I'm not impressed with this car, but it seems to be running well now. I can't vouch for the long term reliability of the TB, but it's working great so far!

Great price and did the job...
My 2010 Caliber started running really bad and after some research, I found that I needed to replace the throttle body. I found this one and it looks exactly like the one off my car and it did come with a gasket. Fit and finish was really nice and had no issues installing it in my car. Took maybe 30 minutes and just removed the battery and hose coming from the airbox that connected to the part. After getting it buttoned up, my car started and ran great. The dashboard error light cleared and I did not have to reset or do anything special. I would recommend to anyone.

Works good so far. I will update if that changes
2017 jeep Patriot with "lightning bolt" malfunction indicator fixed. The check engine light and abs light were also caused by the original part going bad. Vehicle was in limp mode. The part was easy to install, vehicle immediately drove 1500 miles with no issues. Saved $200 purchasing part through Amazon, and was told the mechanic quoted $400 to $600 for the labor. It took about 20 minutes to replace once I got my tools together.

Fixed the issue
Car would only go 5-10mph. Replaced the throttle body and it resolved the issue. Installation on a 2016 Jeep compass was not hard. It has been months and still going good. No Issues.

It worked
I have a friend who was having issues with her Jeep Patriot, and the codes said she had a misfire on a couple cylinders. I replaced the coil packs ( wrote a review on them too), and while I was there, I replaced the throttle body. It was easy to access. The unit is easy remove, & install (2 bolts & a plug), and it plugged right into the existing connection, which made it a true plug & play. The Jeep fired right up, and my friend said it ran better than she had ever seen in her 3 yrs of owning the SUV. Good job Guys. Now we'll see if it lasts.

Product shipped in two days, had vehicle back in action and saved tons of MONEY!
This replaced the one on my 2014 Jeep patriot. Vehicle went into limp mode. As with everyone else, thought I would put in my two cents, but it's typical the plastic gears stripped! I doubt there are replacement ones made out of metal which last! But, other than cost savings there may be technical reasons for making them out of plastic. The replacement was not all that hard, the one hard part is getting to the lower band clamp screw witch is difficult! Don't try using a screwdriver, use a 8mm socket with some sort of small ratchet, much easier!I did clean and lube with a little KY gel the inside lip of the lower air intake hose, this makes it slip on easily and completely, it is difficult to see and you must make sure its on, oh and im sure vaseline and such would work, I don't use auto oils because they can cause breakdown of the rubber!I did not perform any programming, and I don't think any is required for this vehicle, I did clear the code, start the vehicle up and let idle until it reached operating temperature then went for a drive, all good and the car has good pickup!

Great price, works great!
No one could figure out what was wrong with my Jeep Patriot. My former mechanic, auto zone, and a local repair shop hooked it up to the machine reader and there were no codes coming up although my check engine light was on and the lightning bolt signal and the traction lights were coming on and I couldn’t accelerate. So I research myself and found that this is a common issue that happens with jeeps, Chrysler’s, and dodge cars. A few YouTube videos confirmed that it was my throttle body unit so I got a price quote for the part from AutoZone and a repair quote from a couple local repair shops. The part alone was about $300 and labor can vary but can be very costly at different repair shops. I found the correct part on Amazon for a fraction of the cost and was able to get it repaired in a couple of hours. After resetting my system, it’s been running like a champ. Definitely would recommend.
