MIRACLE PRODUCT - SERIOUSLY!!!!
My otherwise healthy one month old son developed a very very severe diaper rash that would not go away. We tried everything.... Decitin, triple cream, butt paste, no diaper for two hours every other diaper change...... Nothing worked. So we took him to the pediatrician. The pediatrician prescribed bactroban. When that didn't work, she prescribed an anti yeast medicine. This also didn't work. Since the rash was still not improving at all, I took my one month old to the pediatric dermatologist. He prescribed a steroid cream. This one actually made the rash much worse. I'm so happy I stumbled upon a comment in an online forum recommending ilex for this severe type of diaper rash. I immediately purchased it on amazon. Once applied, the rash looked 50% better within 24 hours. It's now been almost 48 hrs and the rash is BARELY noticeable. I wish I found this product sooner. My son seems happier and I am extremely relieved to finally see improvement after weeks of stress trying to treat this. Thank you so much ilex!!!! I will tell everyone I know with kids about this amazing product.

Great but follow the directions to a T
This stuff is amazing, if the diaper rash has gotten to the point where it’s got open sores/blistering this will protect those sores. You MUST let it air dry after applying, difficult with a squirming baby but it’s a must. Then make sure you apply a very liberal amount of Vaseline or another diaper rash cream all over it, think cake frosting thickness! Do not try to wipe off the ilex between changes, even if they pooped. Gently pat off as much poop as you can and then put more ilex on, once the skin has healed underneath the ilex the ilex will just fall off. This is super tricky to use but this is the secret product that does the trick. Swear by it!

Good product
I've bought this multiple times for my sons' severe diaper rash. When he has any teething activity, he gets really bad diaper rash and all the pediatrician's office ever told us to do was to use antibiotic ointment and petroleum jelly. That did just so much but he always screamed and cried in pain during diaper changing and bath time. It was awful. One of my husbands' colleagues suggested this product and while I, at first, didn't like using it as it seemed to be awful to remove, I read more up on it online and realized that you not only have to layer a THICK layer of petroleum jelly on top of it but you also have to leave whatever sticks to the wounds on them - it allows the wounds to be "sealed" from the activities occurring in the diaper. If a messy diaper necessitates the removal of the parts that stick, a warm wet washcloth does the job. This stuff really works to help his bottom heal and minimizes his pain. For that alone I'll be stocking this paste in the house and highly recommend.

Look no further
Arrived on time. And holy moly.... This stuff is truly a miracle cream. My newborn had blisters on her bottom and we tried Destin xtra strength, the Dr prescribe us butt cream and it just made things worse. This stuff is messy, and seals like candle wax. So you definitely have to watch placement. We would have to wipe her bottom so she could have a bowl movement. But other than that, this stuff is great. It cleared her blisters within 48 hours of use. I found it by a desperate search on Google and I found it on a "mommy" website where someone suggested it. Price is steep but totally worth it.

Great for stubborn diaper rash
This works in 1-2 nights at getting rid of stubborn or really bad diaper rash. Please be sure to read the directions though, and make sure to put Aquaphor or Vaseline over the top of it. And you can't wipe it off completely in between diapers, just blot. It'll wear off eventually, sort of peeling off in bits. I wish this were mass-marketed but I can understand why it isn't...too many people wouldn't be able to use it correctly, I think. But it really is the best thing I have found for diaper rash. Our son had a lot of ear infections as a baby and would get tons of diaper rash from the meds and diarrhea and this always made it at least 75% better just overnight...and gone completely in two nights.

Just Okay. Wouldn't buy again.
I used this product on a small area of denuded skin on the buttocks. I was disappointed because although I put petroleum jelly over it as recommended in the instructions, it didn't stay on. I think that this product may work well on an area that doesn't come in contact with moisture. Barrier paste with karaya works much better and is less costly.

Holy grail bum cream
My baby had such bad diaper rash after she was born because her skin was so sensitive that nothing worked. And it looked like it was starting to bleed. It was so painful for her she would make this high pitches squealing noise from the pain. One night after searching frantically for something I came across this and it was a life saver for her bum! Litterally as soon as I got it it started healing overnight. I put this one and then calmoseptine over it. And she healed like a dream so fast. You need this if you have a baby!

Very rubbery
I got this for my daughters diaper rash because other reviews said it would be great for that. It ends up getting very rubbery and hard to get off. You have to peel it off. Its almost like rubber cement once its on there. I didn't like using it and would much rather use traditional cream.

This cream is unbelievable in that it takes away diaper rash with one application. I highly recommend keeping a tube on hand for tough rashes. I do not find that it goes on like candle wax as some people say in their reviews. Regardless it works wonders!!
