Stop wearing pointy shoes if you have wide feet! Your feet will ache, the bones don’t want to be smooshed together in a pointy toe box. These comfy moccasin style shoes are the best shoes I’ve ever had as an adult. No- they aren’t stylish. Not everyone is a GQ skinny model with freakishly thin bones and able to wear pointy ridiculous elf shoes. I’m a man - I do man things all day like standing and walking and training workers in a machine shop. If you have foot pain maybe you need to see if your shoe size has changed or what you thought was your shoe size was wrong. Maybe you have wide feet. Maybe your feet aren’t at that tween age or size and aren’t a size eleven or twelve and are a size thirteen wide? Get thee to a Nunnery, Go!- go buy Nunn-Bush shoes in Your size and feel great. The soles aren’t fancy leather, only the uppers are leather, they’re perfectly serviceable shoes, although the rubber/rubber like sole probably aren’t replaceable like properly made goodyear welt shoes are made. Unrelated to the tire company, the good year welt method of making shoes allows the leather uppers of quality shoes to be completely removed from worn soles and refitted by the skilled craftsman known as Shoemakers. If you ever want shoes that fit Perfectly and feel amazing then you go to a shoemaker who measures each of your feet and makes a solid replica of your feet- or scans them with a 3D scanner and makes a computer model of them. Then they carve or 3D print them and use new materials of your choice to make new shoes of whatever style you like, pointy or not, cowboy boots, anything you like. They know how they’re supposed to fit because they have copies of your feet. When the soles wear out they can put new soles or heels on them, even replacing the lining if necessary or you simply want a different lining. If you can’t afford custom shoes at the very least make sure as an adult that you are wearing the Right size and width of shoe. When you get older your feet might swell or if you’re a woman and have children your feet might change size. This happens. Make sure you get shoes that fit.

Really nice shoes. Good quality. Kind of a retro vibe. Extremely comfortable. I can't speak as to the longevity because I rarely wear them. They seem awesome so far.

Great walking shoes. Purchased these several times over the years. They’re lightweight and comfortable for an avid outdoor walker like myself or office worker. I’ve noticed after wearing the soles out the uppers still look good holding their shape and shine. NOTE: This company has several that look the same as these so I am reviewing this model specifically.

These shoes lasted exactly one year. In one year the sole had a big hole in it. In one year the shoe uppers had lost all shape and firmness. It was like I was wearing deflated tires on my feet. The look is very plastic-like. They say it's leather. Doesn't look like leather to me (or anyone else). Looks like a synthetic with plastic in it. Very shiny. But the gel sole can't be beat. These shoes are the most comfortable of any other shoe on the market. But again, that comes at a price. The shoe falls apart little by little starting at about 6 months until one year and then they implode. But they feel good. Even with a hole in them.

Excellent quality and comfort. No wonder why they’ve been making top quality shoes for over 100 years.

This is my 3rd pair of Nunn Bush Oxford Shoes. The shoe is very comfortable for me. I initially purchased this shoe for work because I was walking alot at work yet the shoe looked nice enough for slacks. I am now retired and will be cruising and walking alot. A plus is that I have a short wide feet which these shoes does come in wide widths. Pros: - Comfortable walking shoes - Wide widths - Great looking jeans or slacks - Right price with Amazon.com Cons: - For past shoes, walking alot causes wear to the heals. Soft heels for comfort causes extra wear in heels. - For past shoes, the shoe laces wear out easily due to metal eyelets. To solve this problem, I just replace the round laces that came with the shoes with new laces from Wal-mart. Recommendation: I would recommend these shoes for those that walk alot and need the extra comfort it provides.

I've worn several pairs of these until the sole started cracking. They're super-comfortable and have "bumps" that massage your feet. But this latest pair have a plastic logo inside the heel that's noticeably higher than the rest of the sole. I asked the manufacturer; they said this shouldn't happen. So I returned them. I don't want to do another order-return cycle, so I'll go to a shoe store for my next pair.

Arrived much more quickly than expected. These are really comfortable well made shoes. I shall be buying another pair!

Soft genuine leather, lightweight - my most comfortable semi-formal shoe!
