It went together easily, and it's a good, sturdy-though very plain looking, podium. Just what I was looking for.

This is a very superior portable lectern. Well made, sturdy, and very functional with smooth casters that also lock when needed. I am very impressed with this product which I plan to donate to an organization where I volunteer. It will be used for its speaker program in a fairly small room. Since the room is occasionally used for other events, portability is a definite plus. The height is adjustable, but the screws must be readjusted to do that. However, I think this type of design makes the lectern more stable. Everything is finished smoothly with no rough edges. The screw holes line up properly and there were actually a few extra screws. The top shelf is roomy with a lip that will prevent papers from sliding off. The second shelf is narrower but can accommodate papers, books, or a bottle of water. It arrived as promised and nothing was damaged. I highly recommend this lectern if you need something that can be moved around to different areas.

I assembled this in about one hour, even with carpal tunnel issues. Easy enough, just a bit frustrating with holding things together while you screw the different pieces together. There were extra screws included, but I didn't need them. I struggled with the last few screws due to carpal tunnel and a student walked in and asked, "Ikea?" Yes, it's pretty much like an Ikea quality product and it assembles like one, too. I am 5'3" and I wear flat shoes every day, and I have it just one notch lower than the highest height. I could probably drop it another notch or two, but I decided it was fine where it is. Looking forward to testing its durability in a high school classroom where all the furniture gets re-arranged several times a week. I have some magnetic baskets which I plan to stick to the podium to hold pens and other small items. The insert for the round outlet cutout was somehow greasy. Unfortunately, I touched it before I started assembling the podium and had to clean the greasy spots off the podium when I finished assembly which was a bit annoying.

This is an excellent item. We are using it as a podium for our new fellowship meetings and it is so sturdy, elegant and looks much more expensive. The second layer is perfect for holding a drink, additional notes and items. The edge piece for the slanting top piece is a little sharp so I am adding a plastic binder edge to the steel to soften the edge. Otherwise, I just love this podium. It took me less than an hour to assemble the entire piece starting when I was exhausted at midnight. It rolls easily even across the carpeted floor and the brakes work well. I compared dozens of possible options and this was easily the best for this price.

My wife is a teacher who is currently working from home (thanks COVID), so we needed to set up a work station where she could teach her online classes. This stand-up desk was the perfect size for the area, not too big and on wheels so that it can be pushed out of the way when not in use. Worth the money, sturdy, and easy to assemble.

The podium was easily assembled. The metal portions are sturdy and heavy duty. The wheels make it convenient, however the locks cannot be relied upon to prevent movement and speakers lean on it at their own risk. A number of clubs use the podium, so we printed organization seals, put magnetic strips on the back and placed them on the front for a professional and easily changed appearance. One caution--do not use outside in direct sunlight. We used the podium for a ribbon cutting and when the dark vinyl covering the wood top got hot from the sun, it soften and bubbled up from the wood below. Fortunately we removed it from the sun before it was permanently damaged. We used white paper for a temporary cover of the top and proceeded with the ceremony.

It's a great product, very strong and easy to assemble. I bought this for a church and because we don't have a hall of our own, we hire a venue which means I have to assemble it every Sunday and it takes me about 10minutes to do. The height can be adjusted as well.

Put this together myself in about 20 mins and it’s quite nice. Large, stable shelf is reliable for water - it’s won’t get knocked off accidentally. Nice size, privacy screen for legs, and streamlined style is fairly discreet. The adjustable height is actually screws, you can’t adjust the height between speakers. Only two of the wheels lock, so the podium could move it someone were to lean on it.
