Collector 60th Anniversary Doll, Blonde, with Diamond-Inspired Gown

This was a great 7th birthday present for my granddaughter. She was thrilled with the doll. She has a large collection of these dolls, collection goes back to before she was born. She refers to them as my dolls I can’t play with.

I buy these dolls every year, one for me and one for my granddaughter for collection. She will someday have both. These dolls arrived on time and exactly as shown. Because we are collecting them they will never be taken out of the box. The box was perfect so unless something happens later it will be perfect for any collector.

For the price she was an excellent purchase. Bought to add to my collection.

Love the dress, the Holiday Barbie dresses the last two years have not been in my taste. This dolls are a collectable for me and the design is important. I think they should be what a little (or older girl) dream dress, it is a once a year party they (the doll) is going to in your imagination so a runway dress is not what I feel a little girl is looking for.

The product was a little damaged on the corners of the box which I was disappointed with. It is very giftable for people who love to collect these figures. It was a decent price for the Barbie and for being a year old I hopped on it. I wish the handling was better and the box not damaged. This is going into one of my family members collections and as she is a Barbie collector, the box being damaged at all is a no no. She will love it of course. I just wish the product box wasn’t damaged.

What a Gorgeous Barbie! I was so exited to see her sitting among all of my other Barbies that I have been collecting for many years. Still can’t believe that she’s 60! A must for all true Barbie lovers.

Main issue I have with this doll is that the dress, beautiful though it is, just sheds glitter like autumn leaves in a gale force wind. I wish she were articulated, but I knew she'd be static when I bought her. I collect platinum blonde Barbies to redress in custom couture clothing, and I am very pleased with her for the most part.
