Avery Address Labels with Sure Feed for Laser Printers, 1-1/3" x 4", 1,400 Labels, Permanent Adhesive (5162)

My business bought address labels from a generic brand and we constantly got mail returned because the ink would rub off the label when it went through the mail sorting machine. Late payments to vendors are not worth the money saved. When we use Avery labels, no mail ever gets returned. Great product.

These will last a long time, but the price was so good that I had to do it! I ship things in poly mailers, and use these to write the mailing address. I also decided to use them for return address labels (I have a stamp), so I can use the same labels for both. Using two for each package shipped, I can ship 700 packages with this one pack of labels!

I found an old video online about using MS Word to print Avery labels, and I modified the process extensively for my own purposes using the newer version of Word. I print hundreds of labels per year. The Word label template reads names and addresses from Excel, and I was already keeping my mailing records in Excel. It makes packing those envelopes a lot more fun and makes me feel like I'm being more efficient (which is true). Also, the labels have a professional appearance, using the appropriate Word fonts. The Avery labels feed correctly in my HP printer. The labels don't fall off, but I would like the adhesive to be stronger.

The Easy Peel lives up to it's name. They fed through the printer well too. The labels are repositionable for a while after application, and stuck well when reapplied. The templates offered on the manufacturers website can be rotated to print longways on the labels too. Which is very helpful for those of us who aren't using them as address labels. Unfortunately, using the templates means setting up an account- yet another user name and password. But I can see why it's required. I have received NO emails from the company, so an account doesn't result in spam
